Working on a patch that may fix the occasional Multiplayer connection issues, need to make sure things are working the way they should though.

hey, im trying to enter the lost Colosseum on a calamity infernum mod play-through but it wont load the subworld. the portal is active but when i try to interact with it nothing happens. its there a way to fix this or do i need to make a new world?

This mod doesn't cache anything, but Steam Workshop is notoriously weird when it comes to managing subscribed mod updates and such.

@Dreedon fully install both this mod and whatever mod requires it. then reinstall it, that fixed it for us.
This mod is caching something and its breaking shit.

my friend got stuck at "Receiving Tile Data: Complete" loading screen even when he restarted the game multiple times hes still stuck there every time he joins the world

Hi, I have a massive issue right now, I was playing with my friend in Stars Above, we load into a subworld, then we leave the subworld only for him to be PERPETUALLY stuck on "Receiving Tile Data: Complete"
I restarted my game to no avail.
He made a new character to no avail.
He is no longer able to play on my world as it gets stuck on that message and then disconnects him minutes later.
Is there ANY fix for this? something I delete to reset logging or something.

From what I've heard, Wrath of the Gods and Infernum have a strange interaction together that massively slows down the game. I believe both mods are aware of the issue.
Why is it that when I turn on the "SubWorld" mod, I experience drawdowns from 90-100 fps to 30-40 fps? Moreover, drawdowns occur only with this mod, but I can't turn it off because the Calamity Rage of the Gods and Infernum mods only work with it.
How can this be fixed?

I found that this error still seemed to be around 1/2 weeks ago and afaik there haven't been any updates yet

Yeah if I heard correctly Infernum didn't set up its data transferring properly, and I thought they put out a patch?

not sure this is a subworld bug but yes, progress made in the lost colosseum is separate from the main world, for example if you beat the vassal and go back to the main world than run a check on the variable that tracks its defeat then that variable will say that you never fought it

Possible bug: After enabling Infernum Mode and Wrath of the Gods, entering a sub-world (Desert Arena) causes the game progress to regress, manifested by the disappearance of markers in the boss checklist, the reduction in the number of Thorin bookshelves, etc. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I'm having issues with activating the terminus with this mod active; I've disabled cloud saves as the error message describes, but the terminus is still entirely unusable (playing with the nameless deity mods)

When entering a subworld, all the bosses from Calamity appear as if they were never defeated. The thing is, it does affect progression—for example, the Community accessory gets weakened since the progression resets to zero. I don't know what could be causing this.

Oh, the subworlds are probably temporary and don't save, which is intentional.

That's pretty odd then. I did some multiplayer testing with just the stars above installed, Hosting directly through the game menu. We used hero's cheet sheet in order to expedite the testing by spawning necessary items for full access to the subworlds.

We both visited several subworlds alone or together, and it all worked quite well however there's no sign of any subworld files or directories anywhere in the My Games directory. I was as thorough as I could be but the only relevant files I could see were the core world files. (sabovetest.wld, sabovetest.twld).

Is there any other information I can provide that could help pin this issue down?

My Games is the directory, they're with the rest of your worlds!

Hey, where can I find the directory for a subworld? in my case I'm looking for the subworlds generated by the stars above. Looked in common places like appdata, documents/mygames and steamapps, couldn't quite figure it out sadly.

It seems like Calamity: Infernum is making the call, because the previous and following lines refer to Infernum mod. I just tried disabled Boss Checklist and I'm still getting stuck on the receiving tile data loading screen.

Hmm. Can you make a backup of your world and test what happens without Boss Checklist? Also, what mod is making the invalid call to BC?

Nice pfp Purple! Yeah for some reason mine didn't even have any errors in either log which is honestly kinda annoying that I couldn't find any issues.

The only error in server2.log is from BossChecklist: error [i.imgur.com]

server.log has this same error as the first error, and then these two errors after attempting to enter the subworld: error1 [imgur.com] error2 [i.imgur.com]

Are the servers throwing any errors as they open? That was the cause in a previous report I saw.

I'm having the same problem that Sevin is having, but playing the Infernum mod instead. I'm able to access to lost colosseum in single player with no issues, but in multiplayer I get stuck on the saving map data loading screen. Bug with subworld library and wrath of the gods: exiting to the main world from ANY subworld results in bosses from Calamity and a few other mods that were previously tagged as defeated to not be tagged as defeated

I could not find any errors or uses of the word error in either server log but I did find where I think it tried to load the subworld on the server2 log and it says "No packets received in 30 seconds, closing". I assume that probably doesn't help and I'm sorry for the trouble! Is there a way I can show you the files or send a screenshot of them to you? Thanks again!

server.log and server2.log are the ones you wanna look at!

Sorry, I am newer to this stuff :zagsnooze: where should I look to find error logs? I found a client log but I didn't see any errors after I tried joining another subworld. One thing I will say about trying to join a subworld is that after it sits on the "saving map data: 100%" screen, it will eventually load back to the main world instead of the subworld. Not sure if that helps or not! :dealerrizz:

Can you check the logs for errors? I've seen some mod errors completely freeze subservers.
