Has any figured out what the star implants are for?

Hi, I've just received a "RainbowStar Implant". Could someone please tell me what it's for?

wanted to ask if you plan to have your mods for ark ascended as well i love your mods and want to have them when i do a server on ascended as well

Dinos from this mod cannot be tamed with Immersive Taming. FYI to anyone who enjoys using that mod.

Yes there also a few other dinos left. With the New one i have to wait till its implemented in the dev kit. I hope i have time for it soon.

Configs to control spawn frequency would be amazing! I feel that they spawn a bit too frequently as it is (almost as often as the vanilla colors for some species) and I'd like them to be more rare/special.

Just tested it. Lowered the tek dino spawns to minimum but the rainbow dinos are still incredibly common. I picked a random spot on the map and checked my dino tracker and it showed me 12 rainbow dinos in the vicinity. Any way to lower their spawn rate?

Just noticed the comment from below: "Spawns are same as the tek Dinos." I use a mod that lets me customize the spawn weights of the tek dinos, and I have increased them. Is this why I am seeing more rainbow dinos as well, or does your mod have its own values that you just put the same as the default tek dino spawn values?

Pretty neat mod, but I'm wondering if there's a way to make these rainbow dinos a bit more of a rare occurrence. Only a few minutes after loading up the game I'm seeing lots and lots of rainbow dinos and I'd like them to be a bit more of a special thing to find.

Sorry if this isn't the place to ask this, but do you take commissions at all? I saw you've done some Atlas creatures and was wondering if you'd be interested in doing the mermaid or other mythical creatures

I think Simple spawner mod is always a option to increase spawns of different dinos.

is there a way to increase the spawn's of the rainbow's if your also running another dino mod like pugnacia, gaia, or eternal etc.???

you can't breed them, only normal with normal and rainbow with rainbow D:

Are these different species from their parent dino? can you breed rainbow dodo with normal dodo?

Yes, with every dino it is always the same color region that has the rainbow. I had to assign that when creating the dinosaurs. the other color regions can mutate normally. But I will create several variants over time. they dont have a config. Spawns are same as the tek Dinos. They spawn 5% from the vanilla Parent.

I'm a color enthusiastic in ARK, so this looks amazing and promising! I didn't know this was possible to add to the game. I have some questions, though.

Does it always change the same color region to go rainbow?
Do all spawned creatures get this, or they are random spawns?
If they are random spawns, how rare they are?
Do they get just one rainbow region or can a creature get various regions (or all of them)?
If they have more than one rainbow region, do all of them syncronize with the same color, or do they have different starting colors so each region changes at its own pace?
There is any config to control this?
