Mod updated to work with 42.12.0

Start the server up with the mod so the config file gets generated, then shut it down, configure it just like you'd do with the rest of the server config. The values should be in the config file for the server.

where would i find the character section to change reading speed on a dedicated server using build 42?

And not just 42.11 its backwards compatible up until 42.0

The mod should still work with both B41 and B42 so you should be fine :)

That's already in the mod, at least for Unstable. I do realize i never put it in the description so i'll work on updating that a bit.

Could you make it so you can "Rest" on objects while reading?

For me it's working. All you have to do is restart the game after you launch it when the update finished

Ive had it on lockdown since i made the mod and have been keeping it up to date all the way through unstable, not just here but on nexusmods too.

If i decide to stop updating the mod ill remove the on lockdown bit.

Look... I'll be honest I had manic bi-polar break down due to the constant shutting down of games, and I just really don't want it to get abandoned. I acted on emotion and I apologize. I just don't want to see things sudo-trademarked and have someone dissapear... that being said I aplogize for my rash behavior and admit I was not thinking clearly.

Sorry for those facing any issues and my slower response time, IRL has been keeping me busy so i might be a bit slow to respond.

I've tried reading a book and a magazine while Standing, Sitting on a chair and sitting on the floor and all 3 methods had no issues.

Please provide more detail about the issue you're facing and i'll take another look.

I have no idea what sparked your wall of text, but the reason i put "On lockdown" on there is so people don't go willy nilly create copies of my mods because i fail to add a feature they want or update it in time.
I do understand your frustration, but put yourself into a modder's shoes. They spend their time working on it, we don't get payed for it unless people are generous and then some rando creates a copy of your work and calls it their own. You'd prolly not be happy.

I will painstakingly recreate the code one line at a time, character by character, that way when I can call it a remaster, since I typed it all. and the date on the file will show when I started and when I ended, that way there can be no debates or discussions about it. I CANNOT deal with this behavior anymore.

Every time I come to this mod, I see the 'on lockdown policy' and it pisses me off to no end. If this ♥♥♥♥ were to go out of date, nobody would be able to touch it, and personally, thats really anti-consumer. When you die, I don't give a damn, I'm updating it.

When ever I try to read with this mod enabled, the bar doesn't progress at all. Just happened with this new update. Should I try reinstalling it?

There's other mods that do that, not sure if those are up to date, but i kinda dislike them myself because it takes the whole "risk it for the reward" aspect of the game

Is there a way that you introduce an option to get levels from reading instead of the XP boost
