Hello NEGI. This is a very interesting mod and I really want to use it.I found that the Simplified Chinese translation is incomplete/the latest translation in the community is up to 1.3.
So I created a mod "More Medieval Helms and Armor 简体中文汉化包" that adds a Chinese Simplified translation for your mod and published it on the workshop.

yeah I think vanilla leggings are bugged, there's no "in progress" form of them when crafting them, so they're impossible to finish as the smith can't reasonably work for the entire duration of the recipe...

These Look very good, but I still wish there was a more vanilla like texture for them.

any mods which expand the medieval arsenal so more swords mace types etc?

Really needs some new vanilla-like textures. But still amazing mod :)

If you out of fuel, you will lost all the process of crafting plate leggings.

Disregard that, it rewards a chunk of experience when they finish crafting it instead of over time while it is being crafted.

I've noticed my colonists do not receive Crafting experience when crafting Plate Leggings. Can anyone else confirm, or is it just me?

Love it! all I ever wanted was just some medieval theme gear and not all the other stuff.

Thank you for sharing an Awesome mod! IMO the cloaks look pretty broad on the shoulders and would be nice to go one size down for each body size.

Why wouldnt it be compatible with such mods? As long as they dont change what resources are considered metals or how armor works I see no reason there would be comparability problems

are these compatible with mods that add other metals, like tungsten, titanium, or the ultrasteel mod?

After having used lamellar armor in game and knowing what I do about it, I think it's a little too strong and should be available earlier, such as with the complex clothing research

Oh, I didn't mean more armors. I meant that it'd be nice if cloaks could be worn on top of marine and recon armors. Thank you

Lamellar armor can be fabricated in metal and leather.

Can the Lamellar Armor be made with metal as well as leather? It's hard to tell based on the image.

I also love the cloaks. I wish they could be used above all armors, if possible. More "Outer" than "Outer" level of armor. Outer == Shell

Ah, I was writing about the number of helmets of the same type with different appearance and performance, but I forgot to explain about that. I will add the explanation later.

Question:

What does the number in parenthesis mean after the name of each helmet this mod adds? I immediately noticed the "(1)" or "(3)" after each, but the description does not seem to explain what it represents.

No problem, I've been wondering about armor too, including plate armor. I'd love to do some armor, but there are so many body types that I just can't seem to get into it.
I'd like to give it a try one of these days, though.
