@莫名某某

Yes, you can use it together with mods that change river size.
莫名某某 May 5 @ 2:32pm
Can this mod be used together with Grand Rivers Reborn? I like the meandering river generated by this mod. It looks very vivid. But the small rivers on the world map are like canals on the map, not even enough to support the operation of waterwheels. I think the rivers that can be shown on the world map should be a little larger.:steamsad:

I have been having the same issue as Mithril but cant say its this mod. I hope he can post up a report to try and identify or eliminate this mod.
I have given up trying to have a game the last 2 months due to 20mins loading time with a large modlist, to then have it crash on map gen. I also have a large modlist and agree with Thale its most likely a mod conflict as no problems with this mod alone.
Thale Apr 13 @ 1:06am
I have a 500+ modpack running and have not experienced the issues MiTHRiL has. It is probably a mod conflict somewhere else.
m00nl1ght  [author] Apr 11 @ 6:14pm
If there is an issue, report it in the Bug Reports section and include a HugsLib log. Otherwise there is no way for me to fix it...
MiTHRiL Apr 11 @ 4:55pm
@Goombles

my decision to remove it from the mod pack, I did not find any alternatives
Goombles Apr 11 @ 3:36pm
@MiTHRiL

Were you able to get past this loading loop? I would really like to use this mod, but cannot progress past the generation phase with it :steamsad:
MiTHRiL Apr 10 @ 11:43am
This mod causes a loading loop with an error when loading the base's starting location for the first time after generating a planet. I am writing here primarily so that anyone who encounters this problem in a large modpack with CE knows that the problem is in it and does not waste a ton of time on binary sifting of the modpack. The mod itself is cool, so far it does not cause such problems. Cool games and fast loading to everyone!
Mr Neutral Apr 4 @ 3:13pm
Honestly this should be in game. Top tier mod for base planning.

@AAA

This mod contains a landform editor. You can use it to modify the Archipelago, play around with the parameters until you are happy with it. If you need help with the editor, you can ask in the #landform-help channel in the Discord.
thesoupiest Apr 2 @ 9:16pm
Any way to make archipelagos archipelago-y-er? I want more islands but this seems to only generate one or two large ones.
m00nl1ght  [author] Mar 31 @ 4:59pm
@MNY

No incompatibility with it has been reported so far. If you think you found one, report it in the Bug Reports section. Make sure to include a full HugsLib log (press Ctrl + F12 in game after the problem happened)
MNY Mar 31 @ 10:16am
i ran into a problem with this mod (i believe) and the a mod called rim cities so maybe theyre incompatible?
m00nl1ght  [author] Mar 26 @ 10:07am
@Vulkandrache

Correct, you can use the mods together, but you can not have landforms on the same tile as their biomes. This is because their biomes use custom map generation that bypasses the vanilla code, so it would effectively override any landforms present.
Vulkandrache Mar 26 @ 9:50am
So in other words there are no real landforms possible in their biomes then?
I have made several planets and searched along many mountain ranges.
Not once did i find a cliff in any biome from that mod.

That is a shame but thank you for the information.
m00nl1ght  [author] Mar 26 @ 9:41am
@Vulkandrache

Compatibility with that mod is already implemented to the extent possible.
Vulkandrache Mar 25 @ 11:21pm
Is there a posibility of doing something with

combined with eastern or western cliffs.

@Thoramyr

Please create a full HugsLib log (press Ctrl + F12 in game) and post it in the Bug Reports section, so I can take a look at the error.
Thoramyr Mar 12 @ 9:58pm
Could custom landforms cause the map to fail to load? It seems like every custom landform I make can't be loaded.
>54M Mar 8 @ 3:04am
by "coming from an old version of real ruins" I mean as in the player has Real Ruins up to date but has been using Using real ruins for several months (provably since Rimworld 1.4<) but has never reset their Real Ruins settings or Cleared his map Cache. Just making that point clear.
>54M Mar 8 @ 3:02am
I seem to have figured out what's the deal with your mod and Real ruins making the player get stuck at Map Generation:

If the player comes from an old version of Real ruins -I dare say game version 1.4 or below, but probably it has more to do with a major update for Real ruins along the way-, and installs your mod the player gets stuck at world Generation.
Going into Real Ruins mod settings, pressing the "Reset Settings to Defaults" button and Clearing Cache fixed the issue for me.

I hope this helps, it's apparently 100% and error on Real Ruins side but for whatever reason it gets worse when your mod is there too.
Thanks to @Mitch for stumbling upon a fix that worked for me.
m00nl1ght  [author] Mar 3 @ 2:50pm
@Mitch Dux

Alright, in any case, thanks for your efforts, and glad to hear it works for you now. My best guess is that maybe one of your other mods received an update which fixed it.
Mitch Dux Mar 3 @ 1:39pm
Alright wild. After a week of not being able to launch the game, removing your mod let me play. So I added it back in to create a crash log for you. It played no problem. So I cleaned all my configs and install to create a crash log for you. Readd all my mods, including Geo. It also launched no problem. So I got zero clue why it fixed itself, So I cant be of any help to you.

Thanks! Good mod. One of my favorites, love to use it!
m00nl1ght  [author] Mar 3 @ 10:50am
@Mitch Dux

Please share your log file, without it, there is no way for me to know what went wrong. Also, which other comments are you referring to? I don't see any comments from the last months that mention any crash during game loading.
m00nl1ght  [author] Mar 3 @ 10:45am
@delzaron

I have tested with Real Ruins and it works fine for me.
Again, please post your log.
delzaron Feb 28 @ 1:25am
I confirm : in all my mod list, Real ruins is the only one causing the problem. Without it, everything is fine, including with worledit.
delzaron Feb 28 @ 1:24am
I think I identifiedd the problem : it"a a conflict with the mod Real ruins.
m00nl1ght  [author] Feb 27 @ 11:25pm
@delzaron

Then it is likely a conflict with some other mod you have.
Again, post your log. Otherwise there is no way to tell what caused it.
m00nl1ght  [author] Feb 27 @ 11:02pm
@delzaron

I have tested with World Edit and it works fine for me. Please upload your log to pastebin or similar and post it. Without a log there is no way to know what caused the issue for you.
delzaron Feb 27 @ 10:52pm
it seems to be a conflict between world edit and this mod.
delzaron Feb 27 @ 10:42pm
This mod provokes a bug : you cannot leave the world generation menu and access the map. The map can be see, but if you try to close the menu, it goes back, the button below disappear... so you have no other choice to close the game.

@MNY

I see, yes that should be compatible. No issues with it have been reported.
m00nl1ght  [author] Feb 22 @ 11:32am
@Time Police Officer

This mod already has an integration patch for the "Prepare Landing" mod which does exactly what you described.
MNY Feb 22 @ 5:42am
@m00nL1ght sorry it was vanilla BASE generation expanded
Time Police Officer Feb 22 @ 2:14am
This mod could really use a feature to highlight selected formations on the map. So you can select all the maps youre looking for and pick out what looks best for your landing site
m00nl1ght  [author] Feb 22 @ 12:04am
@MNY

What is "vanilla map generation expanded" ?
There is no mod with that name on the workshop.
MNY Feb 21 @ 11:49pm
is this compatible with vanilla map generation expanded?
m00nl1ght  [author] Feb 17 @ 11:03am
@Furonable

No problem, glad you like the mod.
Furonable Feb 17 @ 9:07am
I love this mod. Thank you very much.

@Doku

Please post a screenshot of what you described, and a HugsLib log.
Heiro Feb 9 @ 2:42am
Not sure if there is some compatability error but I shouldn't really have anything that alters generation aside from this mod
Heiro Feb 9 @ 2:42am
I dunno if anyone else is experiencing this but for som reason toward the middle for mountainous maps, it seems to generate a flat line. Its varied in size and general location but it is almost always the center.
m00nl1ght  [author] Feb 8 @ 11:52pm
@Carneus

"Better Map Sizes" mod is already compatible. Any square map size between 50x50 and 1000x1000 is supported.
Carneus Feb 8 @ 9:00pm
I really like this mod, could you add support for Better Map Sizes so even larger maps would be supported with this mod?
Xanthiras Feb 6 @ 5:31pm
I like this idea for some playthroughs, though at the same time it feels that these maps are also interesting in their own right (kind of "crater, but with much more caves and less predictable exits"/"surface caves but with a large open area") and the mod has place for a separate form that would be like one or both of these but without enforced isolation.
m00nl1ght  [author] Feb 3 @ 10:42am
@Xanthiras

Yes, they are always completely cut off from the rest of the world. That is the unique challenge they provide, being completely secluded until developing the means to get out via drop pods or some other form of air travel.
