This mod is great but I have a problem with the behavior of enemies in close combat. When I create a sort of bunker or closed area with these defenses and a regular door as an entrance or exit (or completely closed), the enemies don't attack the wall or anything to try to get through. Instead, they just wander around outside the barricade, and the colonists only have to play target practice. The fact that there is good defense against gunfights is great, but any attack from enemies without ranged weapons (vanilla or mods) makes the game too easy. This generally happens with animals and creatures (from mods like the VOID zombies or the necromorphs from the Army of Fetid Corpses). I suppose the normal behavior should be that they charge at the embrasures and try to get through to attack the colonists inside. I don't know if there is a version that makes animal or creature-type enemies attack these walls; if that were the case, it wouldn't feel so broken.

This mod has a bug whereby a colonist with construction priority 1 will be standing around and do no other jobs, aside from just basic ones.

only disabling this mod fixes it.

honestly same as archangel here, really annoying how enemies climb through my walls via the "short" walls that i need inorder to shoot from

You do not need CE for this mod, it is stated this mod is compatible with CE.

Are the embrasures supposed to split rooms? Because right now it seems like it breaks rooms.

BTW I'm not trying to be annoying, I understand it dose not list CE as a requirement. But CE is mentioned like 10 times on the page and I just wanna be sure it adds all the walls and is fully functional without it. Sorry for the extra post there is no edit button for my last one.

Would be really awesome if the textures from ReBuild could be supported (yeah I know it works fine with it it just looks bad ^^)

Please integrate this with Vanilla Factions Expanded - Tribals (Embrasures should have the research requirement of Construction, as do walls)

@Unikatze this mod will give you basic embrasures does not matter which mods you already have, then if you have any of the mods listed you'll get extra embrasures that share stats with those mod's walls.

Sorry if I don't understand all the Vanilla and CE part of the description.

Can I just install this on my base game to get Embrasures or do I need another mod for it to work?

Hey there. I think the recent update has caused an incompatibility between this and the Alpha Memes mod. Multiple styles added from that mod no longer fully work, specifically the Kemetic, Steampunk, and Scrapper styles (specifically, mousing over them in the ideology creator breaks the UI). Removing this mod makes them work again.

Unfortunately, I've been unable to get a good error log. But, I did get an error saying that the styles above had been undefined/referenced. I hope that helps.

I'm sorry guys, a change had to be done for compatibility, should be easy enough to fix with a bit of godmode tho since embrasures don't have quality.

I saved my game before fighting massive mech cluster yesterday. Imagine my shock today when I realised there is no defenses.

Is there a way to force embrasures to behave more like walls you can shoot through and less like impassible sandbags? I think it's messing with pathing and room calculations so it's causing issues with CAI and Prison Commons. Not a big deal if not
