B42 Please!

very noice now i can get more capacity on my bags

New update for b41 please, for some reason it won't work on vanilla storage items anymore or anything but player inventory. It displays negative weight but won't allow to store more items than the original capacity (or half of it). I did not have this problem before b42 unstable came out and some updates effected b41. But also please for b42, I need this mod. I can't really drive cars anymore on my current laptop because of an issue with having my OS reinstalled causing issues with driving (shuts off when I stop pressing w) so I'm HEAVILY relying on this mod and the negative weight paperclip mod to be able to be my usual hoard goblin self

please update for build 42 it would be gratefully appreciated

If you put an eraser in the original backpack, the character will walk very slowly. If you put it in the mod backpack, it will be normal.

This mod is so amazing using with Tetris inventory <3

4/11/24, Mod works as intended, however, PRETTY MUCH every mod that changes weight (even if it's unrelated to this one), will probably cause it to stop working.

Found a conflicting mod that stops this mod from working, Realistic Inventory, for anyone's reference.

This mod works best when used in containers found in a base somewhere to store more items; if you put it on yourself, it can slow you down; if you put it directly in a vehicle trunk or something like that, then it can make your car zoom. Other than that, the mod works great.

Going off some of the comments, maybe make it a special craftable eraser that won't spawn in vehicles and make speed like the car from Men In Black lol

erasers spawn in glove boxes.

erasers make cars have no weight.

weightless cars go ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM. very badly, very uncontrollably, but still ZOOM.

Does this mod work for anyone on 41.78? I can't seem to get it to. I don't have the food expiry mod.

"Trunk" weight affects vehicles in a realistic way: the suspension lowers because of the load, its harder to accelerate and brake because you have more mass, and impacts hit harder. because of that fact, adding enough negative weight to a vehicle makes ITS weight negative, causing it to spaz out and fire off to the moon.

@Krilton I'm not sure how else to put it lol.
But it actually happened again with a different truck. The first time I was loading loot into the trailer and the truck just suddenly elevated, twitched a few times and then disappeared into nothing along with all my sweet loots. The second time I was driving and it was like a tornado snatched the whole rig up and carried me down the road a bit before the truck vanished causing me fall damage when I hit the ground. I have so many addons that I have no idea what could be causing it. I'm going to start a steam deck play through slowly adding addons so maybe I'll be able to narrow it down.

added this mod to a 41.71 MP server and works great so far. SOOOO op! Love it!

I used this mod with the w900 semi-truck mod. I'm not sure how many erasers I had tossed in the trailer, with tons of assorted miscellaneous goodness, before it spontaneously combusted... The entire truck went poof lol.

This mod is god like, no more trashing you house with boxes and other bullcraps.
Thanks to that my life became more easy

I love this mod, but it is SOOOOOO easy to abuse. Just 3 erasers in my hand and I can carry 12 full refrigerators.

Pretty cool , would be nice to have an option to set how much weight the Eraser can reduce in mod options.

The eraser didn't work, I hit a "food never rot" mod, which also counted the eraser, but I used the mod manager to put your mod at the bottom of the loading position, and it still didn't work

not working on dedicated when there is a eraser in my bag it stops me for transferring items into it but when i drop the eraser i can put stuff in fine

@miiihko By common sense, mod load order does make a difference, as when two or more mods modify the same files, the last mod to be loaded overrides the other/s. So you should first try this mod on its own, and after that if it works with no issues, then try placing it last on load order to see if it works (that mod you mention that changes the weight would be useless if you use this one).

I have it in a dedicated MP, found it in a newly loaded cell but doesn't change weight. I have a mod that changes weights of erasers, but I put this mod before it in the mod load order. Does that make a difference or no

add an option for configurable weight?

Love this mod as I was finding I was building millions of boxes and making my base look ugly. With an eraser in a storage (including inventory and backpacks) it subtracts 400 weight which allows for mass storage and allows me to make my base prettier!

The mod also makes planks weigh nothing.

Overall great mod, love it! 10/10
