I add mods to this game VERY SPARINGLY, and this will be in the coveted no. 2 spot. I friggin love ice cream and need a way to make more of it.

After around two in-game month prioritize survive, eating nothing but MRE and occasion sandwich from left over bread, realize two and a half pint of ice cream in the freezer is all that left in Knox county... Yep another to the modlist, CTD be damn i will make it work. My character deserve her October midnight snack

I made some sprites for ads like posters and billboards I wanted to randomly spawn around the world, but couldn't figure out how to distribute them yet :(

And I do want to get this working on B42, but I havent looked at the differences yet.

With the changes to how rotten food is used in crafting you can't use melted ice cream anymore. Hoping for an update eventually.

They all have a Boredom of +30, which I think is new. I do see that you're addressing Sadness, but I'm not having that issue as far as I can tell. I only just noticed the Boredom, both as a moodle and the +30 in the item's info. I usually down a carton of ice cream as a meal (in the game) to get all the calories and other positive effects, and was just now comparing calories when I came across two different flavors, both with +30 Boredom. I have other ways to counteract it, but wanted to report the issue.

Is this mod work in MP?I check the recipes,I got the ice-ream maker and two melted ice-creams,but I can't craft them.Milk and sugar works fine, is there any condition i missed?

please help someone is there a mod to eat longer, not faster? I saw such a mod somewhere, but I lost it. in zomboid, the character eats food quickly, but I've seen a mod that brings the time closer to more real

No you can not craft them, but their spawn rate is increased.

I remember somebody explained a possible way on the PZ modding server to me, but I didn't really understand it. You could try and look on there, I recall you asking about that a while ago too. And heh yeah, I end up forgetting where half of my notes go!

Sadly I actually did figure out the solution months ago, I just never implemented it and now idk if I can find it in my notes

If you manage to figure out a solution for that, do let me know. I haven't gotten to find anything for it, though I made a suggestion on the PZ forums to see if they would allow that feature to be more easily modifiable. Best regards if you do figure it out!

No, that is not on purpose. I just haven't been able to work on this mod to fix it.

A pack of cones is a great idea.

Great mod. I'm curious though, is the boredom penalty on the frozen flavored ice cream on purpose? I also wonder if there are 'pack of cones' loot in the mod, right now I only find 1-2 pcs of cones. Being able to open a fresh pack of 6-12 cones would be so satisfying.

Oh snap that makes a lot of sense actually D: I see your point! I actually like the fact the mod uses ingredients already in the game than adding new items asides the icecream itself.
Unless the peppermint or mint candys could be used as an ingredient - just a thought of course! Still an ace mod regardless :D

Didn't add mint because mint doesn't naturally occur in the game. I'd have to add a new ingredient, and these recipes were suppose to be craftable with the items already in game.
Regretfully though. Mint chocolate chip is amazing...

My in game eating habits are fulfilled by the salted caramel. Only question is where is the mint? X'D
Regardless love this mod, the in game icons are cute and it's a welcome addition to my mod list 8)

Thank you for this mod, it was killing me to see all that beautiful wasted melted ice cream. Would it be possible to add a Mod Option to adjust the spawn rate of these items? I am finding tons of ice cream (all flavors)... which isn't REALLY a problem... but I feel bad that I can't possibly eat it all in one lifetime haha

It spawns in any container Cooking Pots can spawn. I think it is twice as rare as a cooking pot, so every time you find 2 cooking pots *Statistically* you should find one ice cream maker.

I've had the most luck checking house's kitchens. Sometimes grocery stores can have it with other cooking supplies.
