Happy to take it down, if Olympia ever returns and decides to continue developing their mod. It's there simply for those who wish to access it.
Dont know if someone has already say it, if so im sorry. My current character is giant but family members arent getting the trait, dna is working though.
Read the description of the mod. It states that is the exact limitation. It's not a choice that it goes through your fathers dynasty, it's a limitation of modding tools available. What you want to do is not give a damn about your created characters dynasty when you are making them. Leave William with whatever dynasty they give you because it will be changing. Then after you create your father in game, you join his dynasty. After you're done with your family, you can edit the dynasty to be Locksley and with whatever CoA you want. That's what I do and all seems well.
I would LOVE the ability to choose my parents culture. I love the idea of one parent (usually the mother) being a different culture from my character, as that gives such unique role-play opportunities! Currently I'm able to change the cultures of my parents afterwards with some other mods, but it would genuinely be amazing if we could choose at the creation stage!
