Oh I didn't see any issues at all with it. As far as me and my friends could find while using it for our runs. Unless there is stuff that is broken that we didn't see, but I doubt it.

@VaporWaveWhack Did you encounter any issues with the mod on recent version?

Really good mod for challenge runs and setups like cryogenic winter for me personally. Since I only had broccoli and strawberries to work with. Managed to survive a whole lot longer thanks to this mod.

Hi Crow, thank you for a cool mod! However, after installing it and starting new game I can't slice meat products or butcher animals as the recipe doesn't recognise those items in inventory. (I have the knife). For the change, smashing a watermelon worked just fine. Can you check this bug? I have no other conflicting mods. Many thanks!

was looking for a mod that changes candy etc cause there is no way that gummie worms are only 40 calories and you get these off a shelf so i assume it's a package of them.

@Brumae Thanks for letting me know, I'll look into it once I get back into the swing of things. I'm surprised everything else is still working fine, it's been a while since this has had any TLC
Brumae Jul 31, 2023 @ 10:21am
I'm really loving this mod, no more diet cakes! I do have a small issue... it stops you from using rotten milk for mildew cure (evaporated milk too). Nothing too bad since I can just do a lil' cheating and go dev mode tho

Sounds great! Finally a vegan run might be viable!

@Crow Tested on a couple of runs now, looks like it's working a treat

@Teellox Oh by the way I forgot to mention I did change salami as you asked!
Crowfooted  [author] Oct 24, 2022 @ 4:23pm
Bahahahah yeah... I see you, Sir Heidegger

I remade the mod from scratch using the new PZ food items file, I'm hoping this fixes the problem that ppl are having with crashes as food items that other mods refer to should no longer be missing.

Please I'd appreciate if you guys could test the mod now with the mods that you had installed before and see if the problem recurs.

Also apologies if there are features missing, like I said I redid the file so it's possible that I forgot about changes that I had made previously. So please let me know, thanks
Crowfooted  [author] Oct 24, 2022 @ 1:11pm
So, I loaded the mod with no other mods, and loaded into a game successfully with no crashes. Food stats are also consistent with what the mod has them set so it's also working correctly.

It's possible that it's a conflict with another mod, but without more info on what mods ppl are running I'm clueless on how to fix it.

@hyperbole.exe your crash report puzzles me bc it references stuff that my mod doesn't touch at all. The mod really is a very simple one, it just overwrites the stats of food items. Only thing I can think of, is that maybe there are food items that have been added into the game since I made the mod, and other mods are referencing those food items which don't exist anymore when you enable my mod?

I'll poke around some more to see if I can re-make the mod but it would help me if people could narrow down what other mod is conflicting with it. Thanks in advance

@Crow: Aww, thank you so much for taking a look! You're wonderful, and you sharing your for-personal-use mods is so appreciated!

@bigjam @McSp00n @uggi75 @hyperbole.exe
Very sorry for abandoning. I am here, I just never expected anyone to actually use this mod, mainly just made it for my personal use.
I'm not a modder so if you were unable to fix it then maybe I won't know how to either, but I will give it a shot over the next couple days. Again really sorry

Theoretically this is a great mod! Practically as already mentioned, it breaks big time since the latest update. Completely unusable unfortunately! Seems the author abandoned this one.

I tried fixing it but am stuck right now. There are only two files in it. But even fixing the one to remove all vanilla food items and emptying all content, the errors still persist. Anyone got any further?
McSp00n 🥄 Sep 11, 2022 @ 10:29pm
Agreed, took me a couple of weeks, but removing this mod solved my line:1173 error.
uggi75 Aug 22, 2022 @ 11:38am
I'm getting the same error. Went through all my mods and I'm pretty sure this is the one causing the error.
uplus263b Aug 21, 2022 @ 7:21am
I love this mod so much, but it may be partially incompatible with the recent updates. A reproducible crash I had was fixed by removing this mod from my list. The error I was given right before it was always

[21-08-22 08:43:39.889] ERROR: General , 1661085819889> ExceptionLogger.logException> Exception thrown java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "zombie.inventory.types.Food.setPoisonPower(int)" because "<local10>" is null at IsoDeadBody.updateRotting line:1173..
[21-08-22 08:43:39.890] ERROR: General , 1661085819890> DebugLogStream.printException> Stack trace:.

Of course it could be that it was a combination of mods with this one, but just incase it may be helpful. (I suspect the addition of corpse maggots changed things around?)

When I load this mod, the food sacks in farm warehouses don't spawn
Sol Mar 5, 2022 @ 9:18pm
This is excellent. It really gives a reason to grow other crops besides cabbages and carrots. Seems to work fine in 41.66 MP server as well :)
Teellox Feb 22, 2022 @ 6:33pm
Many thanks for this!

Also a small request to consider allowing salami to be used similar to ham (in salads, in stir-fries, etc).
Turbo Rob Feb 22, 2022 @ 1:04pm
Thanks very much that does help
Crowfooted  [author] Feb 21, 2022 @ 7:41pm
@Turbo Rob
Based on my experience I think so, but the changes will not apply to any foodstuff that has already generated. An exception to this is canned and unopened/unboxed foods, because these foods will become a new food when they are opened and will inherit the new stats. AKA a can of beans will show the lower calorie amount on the can, but when you open it the opened can will have the new calorie amount. Hope this helps.
Turbo Rob Feb 20, 2022 @ 9:52pm
Can I enable this in the middle of a game? Will that work?

Also thank you, imagine how easy it would be to maintain weight IRL if the PZ values were real life values.
