update: turns out, it worked all along. however, since i had damage on, when trying to slow down, her running gear broke.

to be more detailed about it the pivot that has the main gear is the same angle as in the back but the bar is not so the connected parts are different angles knocking against the little rode

Yeah so it seems the design for the main drive wheels all start falling apart once you get the thing running. If possible, could a version 2 be made with the current update having added new train wheels.

it is because the front engine valve gear is down instead of up like the back engine so it is a little off

The new wheels are garbage for making anything realistic. there is absolutely no valve gear and the spacing of the wheels is atrocious. The pistons don't align with any blocks to build around them. Pretty sure they are still glitched out too. I will never be using the new wheels in a train until they fix these issues.

it appears to not work for me, sadly, i have followed all the steps yet the train seems to be stuck between 0.1 and 2 speed and constantly seesawing between the two, even without carriages, is there a reason for this or does it just not work?

So I just got this and i have been trying it out, I followed the instructions to run it, and it works but the steam does not come out. Did I do something wrong?

Nah, they suck. they arent realistic, they have no valve gear assembly, they are glitched, and they dont look good. that was a shit update besides the 2 roller assemblies.
