@Solzucht he's probably expecting the person to update the mod to add new features like a lot of the massive mod makers do (like the one that made FU) when Juni isnt the original dev of this mod and has a note saying so

Is there a plan to make a Mechineki version of the Neki Floof mods? I had been considering making one myself, but I'm not that good at pixel art, and I didn't want to make an extra one if you were already planning to make one.

It's possible to fix, but it is not something I can do on my end.
Neki and Mechineki both have support for ear rotation as implemented in StarExtensions (by the same author as OpenStarbound), but it seems they chose to implement it differently and consequently break support in OpenStarbound.
Try asking about it on their Discord :)

Might be a shot in the dark... But is there any chance we could get an update to fix the ears floating away from the body with head rotation on the newest openstarbound update? It's the same issue seen on this reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/starbound/comments/16l4e9v/how_to_turn_off_the_head_rotation_of/)

Or is there a way for one to fix this manually? Idk. Thanks!

Again, strictly an FU issue. In vanilla you don't respawn at all in Hardcore :)
So the animation for that simply doesn't exist.
I'll PR the fix straight into FU and you should see it fixed on the next FU update.

Theres a respawn animation for survival but im guessing there just wasn't added one for hardcore.

This is a FU-specific issue, I'm guessing that whoever added Mechineki support to FU didn't bother adding a respawn animation for them.

I'll do it myself as soon as I have the time.

Whenever you die in hardcore with this mod it breaks the game. Something to do with the respawn cinematic.

I'm actually considering doing the opposite - making more of the neki-specific stuff usable only by the Neki, for... sanity reasons ^-^

Having said that, you should check out NFOF , it does exactly what you need :)

Hey Juni, if you ever have the chance and are willing to do it, would you be willing to update it to make the race compatable with normal neki furnature? i wish to use the wall bed and such and it calls me insane if i do! :fhappy:

@ninjared1212 Resistance for poison weapon damage would make more sense, but I feel like a robot/synth should be more resistant to another element maybe, might just be me thinking that way since the immunity will be there but eh.

@Thebloodraven14 i believe the damage resistance still would take affect when applied directly like getting hit with a poison weapon, the immunity is just for the status effect, they have the same name but are distinct

Hey, I saw in-game some stats weren't exactly calculated, or input correctly, don't know if it's this mod, or FU's fault for this, but it adds immunity to poison but also granting resistance to poison by 20/30%, not like the resistance would do much anyways if it were to be left alone.

Hello, as a lover of cats and robots, I am very glad that this mod exists, thank you very much for this)) but I am tormented by several interests regarding this mod. Regarding the NPCs, I already realized that for now we still have to wait and wait for them. but what about armor and weapons? Neka has her own arsenal, she has her own armor. are there any plans to add armor for mechineki?

The ears do not hide when wearing a full helmet-is that intended or not avoidable because they are animated or is that a bug on my side?
Didnt find any mention of it so far, looked also on Neki modpage. So it might be an issue only i experience?

The Neki had just the vanilla Apex SAIL before, not Cutebound specifically.
I haven't looked at what type of sail Mechineki has and how it's implemented, but if it's based off of a very early version of Neki then I can probably fix it so that it'll use the Cutebound SAIL as long as Cutebound is installed.

That's what you are asking for, right?

I don't know if it is okay to say this here, but both of the SFW add-on's do not work at all. I tried both of them, (Not at the same time.) and neither one hides the NSFW parts. Sorry if this is the wrong place to say this but there has been no answer on the add-on pages themselves.

FU now has mechineki support built-in so there's no need for the patch mod anymore. - Although the race is slightly different from what it originally was.

The Neki and Mechineki are different species and completely separate mods, so you can't reasonably expect one to automatically get the features of the other without their respective author(s) adding them and updating their mod(s).

found a fix, you need to go into your starbound workshop folder and delete file 2761266768, this removes the FU traits that was taken off the workshop and fixes your movement speed!

Any fix found other than the resubbing everything thing to fix the extremely slow movement or naw? Would really like to use this again.
