playing further and looking into it-
Cosmic Harmony is also non functioning, not allowing for either Shared Burdens or Utopian Abundance to be used, Florets also don't seem to produce anything, it appears that while Affini are active in the game no empire can specialize a second district, meaning Planetary Captials arn't functioning for anyone.
Floret appear to still function properly, though the Beeple pop growth speed is very low.
The Veterinarian General outputs have been changed to ? symbols
Benefic Aquisition still seems to function

I'm getting the same problem unfortunately. I have found that habitats allow second specialization at least.

there is a current glitch that for some reason causes Planetary Capital buildings to not be detected, making it so you cant build the secondary specialization on the planet. I know it is the Affini mod causing it, though I can't tell if it is affecting other empires yet, this problem only persists while the mod is active.

No, at bare minimum its incompatable with the new dlc, removes the psionics portraits and makes the new psionics species unplayable.

Beyond this, i unfortunately only found this mod today so dont know when the mod features are supposed to kick in. Playtesting it briefly seems like florets are working, but i could be wrong

could y'all make it so that if one makes an another empire unexist while playing as Affini, either by conquest or integration, their leader gets florted by the Affini leader?

@Plampt kisser I'm not sure then. Unless it was because I was made affini compact but as a full protectorate? I'm not sure the player said it was the one way to keep me playing. We only had this and the Voice mod installed

@Chris because it unlocks Raiding Bombardment for you, which I believe requires Apocalypse

Why does the Benefic Acquisition require Apocalypse? Checked the files and such and that's the only DLC requirement that confuses me.

@GlitterChaos are you sure, we have been under tier 3 domestication since mid/late june, and that hasn't happened to us? Might it be a conflict with multiple mods making this issue or maybe another mod?

Small heads up: if you have a player using the Bioships from Biogenesis, their ship research resets to zero when they hit Tier 3 domestication. Just a heads up, great mod nonetheless :winterbunny2023:

Looking at making more custom Affini Society, is there any way there could be an alternate mod or alternate origin for a robot/hivemind Affini, Rogue Servitor-type, or just make a mod that allows Cosmic Inevitability to be used by any player empire?

ive noticed there is a research for Megafauna Domestication, but i cant exactly figure out how to do about doing that- does it just give access to Space Fauna armies?

@kristeldero I think thats due to the Ascencion trait they have access to. I just don't think the AI can choose it because its such a substantial buff so the ai-choice weight is set low.

Just a suggestion, but maybe you could make the Affini Compact more of a fallen empire kinda thing? Or give them a crazy tech buff so they feel like cannon affinis with their OP tech? The empire is really cool, so is the unique governoment system and everything that comes with it, but they power-wise, they feel underwhelming and aren't nearly as threatening as I expected them to be.
I mean, my neighboring AI empire managed to vassalize them as I was just watching while tech-rushing.

Hey there!

A bit of a unique question,
Do the mod creators, or anyone who plays with this mod, have the version for 3.14 backed up in any way?
I'd like to play the game before the 4.0 update with this mod, and/or be able to host the files for archival if at all possible!!

We understand your frustration. We cannot however in good conscience share a fix to any mod without approval from the mod makers.
They deserve much more respect than some random gal that just so happen to find some debug info that hints at the issue being a patch to the main game removing events in minor patches.

The mod is triggering two events in distant stars which seem to have been removed (distars.174 and distars.175) and this seems to be messing with another event (dom_paragon.2), if there's anything we can do to help out we'd love to help, otherwise is it okay that we make a temporary patch?

I've had an issue where a bunch of blank popups appear relentlessly every time the game is unpaused making the game unplayable. This appears to either only happen when you have certain DLCs enabled (I can't tell which) or be a part of the latest update to the mod

Is anyone having problem with a bunch of pop-ups from this mod making it unplayable? Like as soon as I unpause I get 3 nondescript pop-ups that basically bork playing the game at all, and according to debugtooltips they come from this mod

Also: it appears that this mod bleeds into other playthroughs in the event popup when you capture an enemy colony ship during a war. At the very least that would seem to be the case, since my digitized materalists probably wouldn't be referring to other aliens as "little cuties" otherwise.

Love the update, but as i'm playing a long running 3.12.5 game for friends, and didn't realize a mod update would update it for my old version of the game, things kinda broke! I'm wondering if the mod creators would be kind enough to share the previous version of the mod with me if they have it saved? I also don't mind reaching out on the HDG discord if that's easier! Thank you, love the mod!

is cosmic harmony the only civic provided with this mod? based on the description it seems like it should have more, but perhaps I am misunderstanding it.
in addition, the domesticated species doesn't seem to spawn in, or does spawn in, but with zero pops

Without the Overlord DLC domestication of a FTL like turns them in2 like a domesticated like protectorate which like crashes the game. Is there like a way to fix/stop this? thx yew! ♥

Heya again! so I figured out the problem, only pops with haustorics can be florets, but haustorics just apply really slowly, but everything else should be good! ty for listening to me ramble lol

Heyo! So I have my xenos pops in chemical bliss, but they still won't take floret jobs?

Also, yes, I know the mod isn't updated for 3.13 yet. I hope to have a compatibility patch out by 9/22.
