Yeah, it was made for it. Both of these mods will be merged into another one, however.

Hermes boots and minecarts are broken with shields UNLESS weight is changed to 1 in config
Boots not working unless done so
Minecarts are simlpy broken

@The Deadmonster I will, eventually. I've just been on (yet another) hiatus from tModLoader modding. I haven't opened Steam for nearly a full year. Who you saw as "Online" for so long was someone else, as multiple people use this account.

alternatively, have a weight per defence slider on each shield, that way if users want to have each option distict from one another, they can. (for instance, in my playthrough i have lead shields give 1 more defence than iron but weigh twice as much)

the weights affect minecart speeds way too much in my opinion, i would add a calculation for capping the movement speed reduction while on a minecart by 1/3 of what the shield reduces it by

minecart speed = base + (shield reduction /3)

not sure if %bonus movement speed gets calculated on minecart speed but probably tack that on after the reduction

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Yeah, there will be, but don't expect any new sprites or improvements of the sprites anytime soon. I've burnt myself out from spriting for a while..

Looks interesting, but kinda OP. Turtle/Beetle Shields are adding 1250-1500 armor at 20% health, now multipliyng that by shield block bonus, i had 13500 armor on expert...
