B42.8 now covers what this mod does, apparently.
Snow now fills rain collectors and items with water, slower than rain.

hopefully this mod comes to b42 soon, my winter is coming playthrough has been rough without it lol

I have tested so far that snow does not count as water in terms of crops. Will you add such feature to your mod as well? (B41)

it's in the description that the beta version gives errors with the latest version, please only use the Standard one / Barrels only.... Read the desc before installing the mod ffs

It stops happening if I use the only barrels version.

May be a mod incompatibility but the full version causes endless errors when my character tries to pick an item from any container. It's just the animation playing endlessly and never transferring it to my inventory.

Hey I'm not sure if I'm the dumb one here but I'm playing on max cold settings & I'm in winter atm on B42 and I've noticed rain collector barrels filling up after snowfall. Did they add this to vanilla?

An update will come, but give it some time, it's been less than a week since the beta of B42 came out, and the whole liquid system is going to make updating the mod harder than expected

@Orangeninja just so you know, not only does it snow in KY, the weather in '93 was particularly awful.

any news on this mod being fixed/updated/replaced by another?

@XxN1GHTMAR1SHDEM0NxX bit of a necroreply, but absolutely, yeah this mod is pretty buggy. I constantly get errors every second or 2 when it snows and the error only references the mod itself. Luckily the error text it prints is literally like 3 lines and like 20 words so it will take a long time before the error log is just flooded with so many errors the game implodes. atleast it functions a little bit
