Did Warpstone addiction get broken again in one of the updates?

So far everything is really good. My only issue with the mod is the fact that the progress lines on the torch are not also green. Its really fucking with me. Is there ANY way you could have those also be green? Please!

But joke aside, honestly those Skaven are phukin deadly. No joke first encounter with a few Stormvermin and an anti heal censer can legit debilitate your run.
I've lost 2 characters to that stuff in the first combat round 2, 2 crits +blight offed 2 squishy characters. I guess one was antiquarian and the other was a bounty hunter. Both level 4 in a level 3 dungeon.

Yeah. I wouldn't say nerf the censer in particular but a halberd Stormvermin hitting harder than a bruiser hero is kinda harsh.

So this might just be me being a little bitch but, why can one enemy do and affect were your HEALERS TO JACK SHIT?! Minus 200% healing for two rounds. Now two rounds might seem like something short. But when you can't heal pairs with the enemy team having a good DPS kills most things. So please nerf this to a 50% or hell even 70% would do because I just need my guys off of Death's Door.

I have a question about how the mod works now that it's available in 64-bit. Is it still necessary to have the -disable_monster_pre_loading launch parameter? Was that necessary because of memory issues, or did it serve another purpose?

@Bosh Steam deck is a linux based hardware, and there is no way around that specific error in linux, as it is an innate error for linux version of Darkest Dungeon.

I think this mod is broken for me on Steam Deck. Whenever I try to launch the game with this mod enabled I get the error:

Couldn't find quest gather curio vermintide_bone_alter. Make sure this exists in the second column of the curio_props.csv file
SPACE to skip once
ESC to always skip
TAB to break

Trying to press space, esc, or tab doesn't do anything either with bound controls or by pulling up the on-screen keyboard and the game has to be closed.
This happens on both the newest and legacy versions on steam deck, but it works fine on PC.
Is the quest selection icon for the quests for the corrupted hamlet supposed to be located directly above the rightmost roster box, or could this be a mod conflict somewhere? Thanks.

invisible positive quirks generally do nothing (that's why I made it positive in the first place)

I have encountered the same problem with an invisible quirk, but this time it is a positive quirk, obviously being positive it is not anchored but so far it has not been replaced by any other quirk after the missions:

I don't know if it's a bug, but an invisible quirk is generated that stays stuck and can't be removed in the sanitarium related to the warpstone in the code:

So on the Kill the Wretched Plaug Priest mission (resolve 6 boss fight), every room that has sacrificed heads is white, like the room is just missing the textures. Is my mod corrupted? I'm kinda scared to do something about it because it's on my week 60 campaign. :stress:

I enjoy the update on March 13th. Most annoying things have been removed, make vermintide mod more reasonable and interesting. Besides, I completed Chinese localization of new version. I'd like to share it if you need.

Is it possible to remove WSA entirely from a hero? I know the "tended" stage is entirely beneficial with no downsides, but the disease icon on the hero portrait is bugging me constantly. Other than that though, having a blast with the mod so far.

I've tried and I'm still not acquiring the Warpstone Addiction. I even popped like six in a row on one hero. Not even a disease resist. So I am beginning to think there is a mod conflict on my part.

Hi,
the gutterrunner_skull item wasnt giving me any dmg modifier after the install. Was working fine after changing some of the buff properties, more in bug reports.
Did anybody else have that problem?

Hi guys, I have added this mod about 30 weeks into a run, the dungeon appears but simply says complete more missions. I know usually it unlocks week 5. If added after week 5 just it just take 5 weeks to spawn or will it remain locked?

@JLW2490 Should be available to get it by using Warpstone. If it is not working, you might check if the hero is afflicted with CC-like diseases from other mods, or CC itself.

I got a question. How do you get Warpstone addiction now? It seems I can no longer acquire it by popping dust, nor by the enemies can afflict you with it.

Yeah there's no way to disable a mod of this scale without any hiccups; making a mod that copies Vermintide quest.types.json would be the only way.

Is the quest "kill the hell pit abomination" repeatable? If it is, how can I disable this mod correctly? I tried to uncheck it in main menu and load save, but an error occurred. Here was the information:

@DistantNeko As in, keep using the skill in the same round over and over again? We had no instance of such bug in dev branch, so you may have to inform us of the mod list you're using. If you're in a softlock, use -forcetown as a launch command to get out of the dungeon.

At the moment I have a 1st small chapter or introduction

My idea would be more to try to expand what a dlc would have been like with a video game that could fit very well with Darkest Dungeon but somehow they didn't do it or they didn't know if it would be a good idea or not to use it.
