I got a screenshot of the Oceanic class all lined up in a row, took 2 screenshots, one for day, one for night, with this ship.

can u upload those lifeboats by themselves? it would really help since we can put some on decks and then when the original ones are launched we can just swing the davits back and attach them to have more lifeboats. but also they can right them by themselves so they are super cool

Zx1000kaw Jan 12, 2022 @ 7:05pm
Oh well im very sorry because my brother showed me how he built it in 3 days? im getting mixed up here
SciFiDeepdive  [author] Jan 12, 2022 @ 12:27am
Logan.Luparell, I can assure you I built this myself over the course of about a month and a half last year. There are other recreations of this same vessel but this recreation I constructed myself from scratch.
Zx1000kaw Jan 11, 2022 @ 10:19pm
Uh, hello? did you steal MY brothers creation? I'm saying this because my brother made this exact ship and he even showed me that he built it because the design in there i recognize it as a old fashion look from the 1800s, and he didn't know how to add a scuttle button onto it and he showed me every layer he built and he did get the hull from another person, so concludes to this, did you steal this creation?

Model Guy, Honestly, symmetry. It doesn't do anything.
SciFiDeepdive  [author] Dec 19, 2021 @ 5:26pm
CarsonJim618, There is no scuttle button but if you ram something or place an explosive in it, it can be sunk.

What is the "INOP" throttle for?
lemonFTW Dec 18, 2021 @ 11:20pm
is it sinkable?

XxvilppuxX, Thank you! There's definitely more to come in the future!
MechanicBrain Dec 18, 2021 @ 11:52am
SciFiDeepdive, no, i don`t need aircraft carrier which can recover planes. I`m having smol bomber that can lift-off from short airstrip. So, it`s possible. Essex or Enterprise (yorktown)?
XxvilppuxX Dec 18, 2021 @ 9:10am
I love how much detail there is make more of these please i gave you take my money Gift. Keep it up man.
SciFiDeepdive  [author] Dec 17, 2021 @ 12:47pm
MechanicBrain, I've considered aircraft carriers in the past, however, knowing myself I wouldn't be satisfied unless they could actually launch and recover aircraft which doesn't seem very possible at this scale.
MechanicBrain Dec 17, 2021 @ 11:25am
Can I suggest Enterprise (Yorktown class) aircraft carrier?

Besdides some aspects of the interior, I think it looks incredible
SciFiDeepdive  [author] Dec 14, 2021 @ 7:33pm
Hi.Its.Me.Mr.Potato, If you ram something with it or place an explosive on board it should sink, but there is no scuttle button.

OLYMPIC, Thank You!

Queen of Cyber World, Wow, that's awesome. Gives me a way better idea of what the Cabin Class spaces were like on board. Thank you for sending me that!
hi.its.me.mr.potato Dec 14, 2021 @ 3:46pm

Here's the dining saloon:
I'm unable to send the smoking room because I can't get the image as a link

But her saloon would look a lot like that :)
Alex1889 Dec 14, 2021 @ 1:08pm
Don't worry, it's fine! And I think I can post the images as links

Queen of Cyber World, thank you! Try as I might, I was completely unable to find any pictures of the Oceanic class or Britannic class’s interiors(spent a few days struggling to find reference images). The oldest White Star Line ship I was able to find interiors for was Teutonic. So I ultimately decided to take some liberties since I couldn’t find any solid information on how they were decorated on the inside. I would love to take a look at Britannia’s interior if you could point me in the right direction to find those images.

As for the number of decks, at one point there was a plan to make her hull 2 decks tall but at this scale it threw off the balance too much and so that plan was abandoned pretty quick.
Alex1889 Dec 14, 2021 @ 7:33am
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention her hull was 2 decks tall, as opposed to the singular deck on this model.
Alex1889 Dec 14, 2021 @ 7:32am
I appreciate the effort, but I don't understand the interior. There are many depictions of the Britannic I's interiors online and it looks NOTHING like this. Honestly the interior looks more like a 1930's steamer. Another thing would be the turtleback (the white thing on the bow) was White Star Buff, not white as depicted on the model.
