Hmm, yeah those are good points it's been a while since I've worked on this. The original idea was that
Alchemy stuff would require more stamina, but have lower fall speeds (Bat Demon maintains it's height)
Constructed Stuff would fall faster but require less stamina
After tweaking and adding the Updrafts it eliminates that benefit of the Alchemy Stuff

Would agree with @Ghennkin. The top gliders don't offer anything better. Perhaps give them a slight stamina regen and a higher boost on the updrafts compared to the black glider? I feel like it all scales well but the jhil and bat gliders for sure need a little something more. My players are having a lot of fun with the gliders though. It's a very cool mod!

Incredible mod. Really like it!
However, I can't help but feel a bit off about the 1 masterwork glider being hands and toes better than the late game gliders. I expected the bat and birds to be the next tier up and looked forward to unlocking them at lv 60. The end game gliders are all big downgrades to the faster and longer gliding masterwork glider (black cloth with the sun emblem).

I can glide for 3.5 to 4 entire map cells with the black (fast) masterwork glider. The Bat is lucky to make it 0.5 before you are out of stamina and slower.

Doesn't feel right to make suggestions if you yourself are not playing CE atm. I think it would be cool to experiment with the kits and tweak the glider's capabilities towards your gliding needs. I've tried experimenting, but the only thing that seems to make any difference is wearing very light armor. The black masterwork glider still triumphs over the lv 60 unholy gliders. Not a huge deal honestly. Just odd.

What a great mod, I started using it on my server, it's quite useful, especially with flying mounts, leaving through the window on the 2nd floor of the house, etc.

I am modding Conan Exiles to make it feel like Dune Awakening as practice for when it comes out and this mod is really handy :) Nice work everyone.

Assign the Glider to a quickslot like a weapon then jump off something and use the quickslot

Ok Fixed, now it works more like a wheel of pain but any thrall you put in it will turn the wheel (Converted or not)

It appears the wind contraption needs to be converted to the new thrall system.

The wind contraption doesn't seem to use thralls anymore. Am I just being dense?

Just wanted to say thank you for this amazing mod! It genuinely changed the game for me and let's me enjoy it so much more again! Have been using it for a long time now and I couldn't imagine Conan Exiles without it anymore.

Also, if you ever feel like working on it again in the future, I would like to agree to Rafan's comment and would love it, if you could somehow incorporate the new animations for flying with the bat demon. But even without this, it will always stay a must have for me.

Bummer. It works great on my solo game. Love this mod! It's just an issue playing with others on a server.

where do you craft the black gilder? i only see wood in inventory, silk and patchwork in the carpenter benches and the undead vultures and bat in alchemy bench, cant remember where the normal white and black gliders were created?

Just a tip for the mod, it would be amazing if you could replace the flight animation with that of the demon bat that is already in the game, it would look more natural.

Thanks! I think that's what I did wrong. I am using Unlock Plus, and I was trying to use a warrior in there. Next opportunity, I'll throw a crafter in there instead. Thanks for the help.

@Devlah, You should be able to put any kind of Crafter thrall in the thrall slot and it should start spinning. In order to allow any crafter type, I had to technically make it a bunch of different crafting stations. You shouldn't be able to add any crafting ingredients and all the recipes are meant to be hidden similar to a smelter, but mods like Unlock Plus show all the recipes.

I'm having trouble getting the wind contraption to work. Is there a particular type of thrall I should be using? Also it seems to have a vast crafting menu that hangs the game if you try to use it.

It should have a higher speed than the other gliders, make sure you're not over encumbered. And keep an eye out for them, if you go towards them as soon as they spawn you should have plenty of time

I can not seem to reach any of the random updrafts that appear, while using the Framed Black Glider. They seem to time out right before I reach them. I am able to get to the random updrafts with all of the other advanced gliders though. So is that part of the design? For the framed black glider to have a slower horizontal speed?

Is there a key to decend faster? Crouch doesnt appear to do anything while on glider. Sometimes I end up too high and cant get low enough before my stamina runs out.
