There is no update to do, the only change they made that will have any affect is the Mods screen, they fixed the bug for the Gamepad not moving to the next item when you hit down. I will be posting that fix soon.

Runs pretty well on the original Ally (Z1 Extreme), only issue is the texture loading when a new particle effect plays. After the first effect plays, it loads the next fine.

How does MW5 perform on the ally by the way? I got an Ally X last week and I have yet to give it a go (And mod it with YAML).

I was confused because the last update here on steam was in October 2023, and the last update on nexusmods was in June this year.

what version is currently on steam? i'm looking at the VR mod for MW5, and it states that it needs 5.1 at the very least to properly run the mod.

Are we better off using the nexusmods version in general or?

I'm rebuilding the UI part since people keep having issues but I can't replicate it. The new UI will be gamepad friendly for use with the SteamDeck/Ally/Claw/Go

yea after i got the arena /solaris dlc the game would crash when i tried to start a mission for some reason.

mod causes startup issues for me, after booting up the game i only get blackscreen even before i reach the main menu

Updated to 5.1 to fix an issue where if you entered and exited out of options, the tabs would keep duplicating each time.

MW5 Compatibility Pack will be updated to 5.0 tonight after the DLC drops. I made changes to the UI for options and added support for a few new mods.

You don't even begin to realize how thankful I am for this. Last time I installed this game, I decided to not play because the trees bugged me SO much. I went as far as downloading the MW5 modding tools to try and macgeyver a fix, but I have no idea how to mod haha. Anyways, thanks so much.

Yea... I have to say that this mod partially affects some localization elements in interface, forcing the game to ignore the language set in the settings. The language reverts to English regardless of the setting.

This mod can make some YAML functions ♥♥♥♥ up but the game doesn't tell you that they conflict each other

They added new functions with the latest update, so to keep the mod compatible with DLC4, I had to update this mod to 4.0 so it will work. To work with DLC 3 version of the game, use 3.7 from Nexus.

yeah the MW5 compatibility mod does not work anymore. dont know how they can ♥♥♥♥ up a previous version with this updates -.-

That was my fix, yep. I previously rolled back because other important mods were not updated yet. And noticed it crashing. Safe to report that it works fine on the latest game version though. :)

I updated for it to be compatible with the latest DLC. The Nexus Version has version 3.7 for the pre-dlc4

Ok I got it to boot now, thank you for that. It is still displaying the -9XX.XX tonnage though. Not sure how a mod that strictly effects pilots would change displayed tonnage. It has to be either this or 330'a PO because without them everything is displayed fine.

Do a cache clear then, you delete the modlist.json file, start the game up and go into a mission through instant action. Then you re-enable all the mods.

Default load order of PO is 14. Had to dig through the work shop folder to find it.

Now I am getting a fatal error on boot. The only things I have changed are this and pilot overhaul. Game works fine without them.

Ask if Pilot Overhaul has the correct load order. Pilot Overhaul needs to be 14.

They all worked fine until I put this and pilot overhaul in. Their proper tonnage is represented in the drop calculations but when selecting mechs their weight is borked in the selection screen.

Then you have another mod screwing with them. This mod does not affect ANY stock assets.

oh no kidding cause i do use 330's pilot overhaul and i must say i really am impressed with that mod, no longer do i suffer from total derpy doo's! now only partial derpy doo's!

There will be an update soon, made a function called "Get Mech Tonnage" that can be overridden by mechlab mods and other mods can call it to get the correct tonnage instead of what PGI has. Mainly for Pilot Overhaul mod.
