detnac, nah it's fine, they do bite only if the reputation is an orange one or Wild Child while a player is hostile to them.

doom_royale, that quest in particular doesn't have any quest rod, just interact with any spaship part on the map with Kim and it drops the component after Kim is done, once there are 8 components lying on the ground the quest completes successfully. Beware of mechanoids that may come to assault Kim.

A mediocre update that focuses on various bug fixes, yeah, it was pretty messy for some time.
Also kurin retribution's climax has been reworked. Kurins now have a mommy that they would call if they get threatened. My message for anyone who is dissatisfied with this new climax: it's okay to lose to her, and you could always accept the arrest.

I cannot allocate much time for rimworld for now, but please do tell me if you encounter any new bug/unexpected behaviour after the update.

I am having trouble finishing the quest 'captured kurin spaceship' on the mechanoids:core quest chain, I get the engineer (Kim) to salvage 8 or more pieces of kurin spaceship components, but from there I can find no way to progress the quest, if I try and leave the quest site with the components the quest automatically fails, and I can't find any spot on the map where I could take the components in order to progress the quest (a beacon or something), maybe it's worth noting that the spaceship quest site showed up on a 'pyroclastic conflagration' biome (from the Alpha Biomes) mod, so maybe it's possible that some beacon or something that could have helped finish the quest ended up in a lava lake.

It's not exactly clear how the reputation system works. I have some good reputation, but also accidentally got some bad (I really needed those 76 components from the camp). Will the kurin faction bite us because of that? Or is everything fine while our reputation is mostly good?

They spawn now, but there actually is a bug that's been here for like a year that I never reported. If you've got things adding extra factions, factions in the list stop spawning after the Republic of Kurin. (if you've got 50 factions but kurin is #20, you will only get 20 spawned)

When playing the tutorial, I set the landing zone but no ship arrived, so the tutorial got stuck there
By the way, I didn’t install any other mods, only all the DLCs
It seems that no error was reported

MegaPro1921, what does compatibility for Sos2 mean? Kurins have some high-tech protective gear for space, but they could just wear default human space suits.

Kelarius, might be some issues with the kurin camps themselves, i didn't try to test that, but it's actually not intended. I will look into it later.

PleiΔdeVII, yes, the update Oct of 14th did bring new animated tail textures handling which was broken until Oct of 19th, try to update the mod's files to the latest version, the issue has been resolved, but sometimes for some users the files don't update properly.

Hello. I have a hopefully quick Odyssey related question. For the Kurin quests to attack enemy camps, they don't appear to register as complete if you send a grav ship to the map. Sending a shuttle works fine. I wanted to check if that was intended to not be able to complete the quests via gravship. I have an extensive modlist and wasn't sure if there might be a conflict instead. Thank you.

MegaPro1921, huh? This is ridiculous and should not happen, like i enabled both mods and the reputation system works for Republic of Kurin only. I don't even know how that could be possible, unless someone added a Kurin to wolfein faction's tags.

I could do that, but I don't have a sleeping graphics for old lilin. I'm waiting for a hero who would draw a dedicated lilin retexture mod, and that might actually happen probably soon.

I agree with fluffy tails, the new Lilin fox texture is ok but it feels a little uncanny and the old texture is nicer.

The tail of the fox doesn't works well. how to deal with that ? I checked the file, but I can see those PNG working well. I have no idea what happeded. :sad_seagull::sad_seagull::sad_seagull:

A major update that focuses on visual improvements. Be sure to check the inner update log for more details. The mod has got thicker, but that's due to new animated tails graphics and second kurin tail added to the mod. Yup, now you can choose between animated tail graphics.

Oh, also, you would need some time to get used to the new lilins, BUT i assure you, it is the real lilin appearance, the old one is a fake one. Now I can do a stand alone lilin mod.

Thelime, oh, well, there was a flaw that sometimes the shuttle designated zone lesson destroyed the tutorial pawn, but it's resolved now. There should be a button to proceed the tutorial right next to the tutorial lessons text window, press it to proceed.

Note : You may want to edit the tesla rifle CE patch as it breaks Nice bill tab mod. Cause is : the tesla gun is CE patched while the projectile isn't which make NiceBillTab crash when trying to calculate damage.
The only way I found to fix it currently is getting rid of the CE patch for the Tesla gun in my local copy of your mod.

Great mod btw, it's one of the few I can't play without :3

I'm having an error with the 4 and 6 days events. Probably due a incompatiblity with other mods but when I delete a mod and rerun the game this error disapear then come back after a while :(.
Making it very hard to troubleshoot the issue.

The update is kurin vehicles dedicated: MLRS Dominant, new kurin heavy industry vehicle, improving kurin heavy shuttle's code, etc. Details in the update log, but also i want to mention that some descriptions of the shuttles and tl keys were changed.

Has anybody also got issues with quests? Only the enemy camps ones work for me - Dev console doesnt say much about the issue, only that "Something went wrong during generating kurin quest"
