Once the mod gets updated to remove those assemblies you will need to unsubscribe to remove the original folder then resubscribe to put it back. Otherwise the extra files will not be removed.

You might want to check your modding set up and repackage/reupload your mod. I had an error come up from Dubs Analyzer when I loaded in "Mod No Random Apparel on Ideology Edit has packaged the base-game Rimworld assemblies". Checking the mod folder sure enough there's a ton of unity engine assembly files in the mod folder.

Using the No Limits ideology mod I'm starting to wish there was a No Automatic Rituals/Structures/Role Assignments that would force everything to only whatever is required by the ideology or memes and no more.

Very nice. This may be why my game last time failed at the worldgen stage - I not only had a lot of mods, but I had quite a few mods modifying Ideology content. A probable pile-up of errors, and maybe even apparel assignment on ideology generation during worldgen may have been causing my crashes back then. I'll do the necessary clean-up, put this mod in my load order and see if it works. Thanks for the mod.

I've tried finding a mod that does something similar but for more such as precepts since it's kinda annoying when you want to make relatively small changes to the memes but end up having to set everything else up from scratch but haven't found anything

I'm noticing without this mod it is taking awfully long to generate maps on a new play though, just like before I started using this mod in 1.3. There must still be a way to apply this invaluable fix to 1.4.

@Kyrox yes you can, it will prevent roles from having clothing linked to them, and it even works if you have "Ducks' No Limits - Ideology" installed as well, for 11 factions with 16 roles unlocked the world generation with this mod went from 40+ mins to just 20 seconds.

Can you use this with a role apparel unlocker? I want to unlock apparel for ideology roles but the 021 mod that allows me to do this makes my planet generation take over 45 minutes.

@Ateidi Depends on the scope of the mod, so far I've had multiple commissions that were anywhere between 10-100$.

Dude.....I legit thought that Rimworld broke at one point because it wouldn't generate the planet. It legit took 20 minutes for my computer to put together 35% coverage planet with only 11 factions., i mean the computer is 4 years old at this point but still. This will make my life so much better. I just tried it. It does load instantly!
It's not really derandomized, but I would personally like it if structures wouldn't go to religious bases, or at least stay on "ideological" or "Archist", unless the faction doesn't allow it. So for example no VFE-M "Mechcluster West India" (example happened to me) spawn by ideologies of factions that don't have bases on the map and you can't control.
Other than that the relic generation? No idea what can be made there though? Maybe something like a check if the faction tech-level fits with the artifact on generation? Or don't let it spawn all together.
No idea if its even possible or worth the effort but thanks anyways

@Archilyte Yep, that's the main intended use case of this mod, it should greatly improve world generation times in this particular scenario.

I honestly don't even care that much about the performance increase. Just the automatic random apperal is such an annoyance by itself to me on ideology creation and changing. Thank you so much! I wish there were more "no random " " on ideology edit.
