The idle_fidget wav needs to be removed from this mod as the BS version is longer & it doesn't sync up properly with the animation

Fyi this mod has some strange incompatibilities out there that other blue shift mods don't have. Two I've found are Softer Gunfire, and (for some reason) EthanBear360's Spas-12. Hope this helps someone.

I didn't know where else to put this finding, but installing this mod alters the reload speed of the assassin glock, which still uses the normal BM glock reload animations.

Thanks. That one's got both arms, but the empty one seems like it was made for the old mod version and how sprint worked there. Maybe you can upgrade the whole animation and repost it? Thanez seems to like having his stuff here.

I'll look into changing the timing on the ammo refill for reloading.

On another note, do you think it's possible to synch the end of reload to the animation, like how most BM guns work? There's like a second between when the BMBS reload animation finishes and actually transitions into 17/17 (full magazine) state.

Is it possible to have this with BM's standard off hand sprint animation? The clenched fist makes sense for a security guard, but looks kinda goofy in power armor.
Also, I remember seeing a video by you at one point where you had an off hand while sprinting with frag grenades. Was that something you made, or is it another lost black mesa feature?

Can you please respond? This mod simply does not work for me. I've moved it into the custom folder, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mod.

I haven't removed any sounds, the ammo pickup sound being missing was because of a faulty edit of game_sounds.txt on my part, it's been fixed since.

I think the reason why the sounds were removed is because they were stopping the ammo pickup sounds from playing.

Yeah, even after moving this to the custom folder it doesn't work, the sound plays but the animation is still the one from the base game. Please fix

why is there no sound for when I pick up certain items, even if I do snd_restart the sounds dont play

but I have a little request there. If you'll be making the crowbar animation port, please, remove the "idle_fidget" animation from .qc file, it makes no sense cuz for some reason crowbar doesn't have coded inspecting in it, so it plays like a normal idle act without any differences, it makes it a bit cringy.
we will try to change that in the next update too, cuz this thing is really annoying for sure.

Could be a conflict with other mods. I found the same issue in testing and the culprit turned out to be XRGM's weapon fixes: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2359869048
