@Iven?! Should be patched in the latest release. I performed some inadequate testing following a recent update that changed how the modified item loot behaves.

When i turned the dungeon crate option off (so the lockboxes would drop from biome crates instead) it just made the lockboxes unobtainable entirely

@soul_hunter34 Thank you for pointing out this inconsistency. I overlooked this as I had assumed it shared the same naming convention as the other biome chests. :terraria: The ID for the chest has been corrected in the latest version, and should now correctly drop the *dungeon* desert chest.

I liked the mod very much, it was moderately balanced, but I noticed an inaccuracy. All boxes give the correct chests, but the desert box gives the Sandstone Chest instead of the Desert Chest. And so the mod is cool! :azuki2::cupup:

Oh, it's because they actually do drop from pre-hardmode crates, you just seem to have accidentally typed the wrong thing.

With this mod enabled, attempting to open *any* of the hardmode treasure bags causes the game to completely freeze up, and then after a few seconds it crashes.

@Skynixy Details about what mods you have enabled and what mods you have that might change consumable behavior would be appreciated. That would be done most easily through my Discord. I cannot reproduce your issue with any mods I have (any of the top 150 mods).

For some reason i couldn't open more than 2 crates, any of the crates, maybe cause i have a mod to craft the keys, but then again, it worked twice

Oh, i didn't know tmodloader did that, i was just basing that on terraria, right now i'm just downloading the mods so that i can pretty much play tmodloader for the first time.

Odd... this should be in v1.7.0. You might try going into the menu in-game @ Workshop > Download Mods - select "Show only updates" and see if the update shows up there?

Then comment when you do so i can get that update, for some reason even tho subscribing is called subscribing, if there's an update, it won't automatically download.

@Terraman Ah I see what you mean. Creating a condition for whether Skeletron has been defeated for the Lock Box drops from HM crates... I could do that, but for compatibility sake I would need to add an option to use it or not. I'll put this in the next update!

No, i mean make it so you can only get them after skeletron, but you can only open them after plantera, making it more consistent with the chests.

@Terraman As the biome Lock Boxes are meant to be counterparts to the chests found in the dungeon, which can only be opened after Plantera is defeated, they can only be opened under the same conditions. I could create a config toggle to switch to post-Skeletron, but I don't know if there's a huge desire for that.

Yes, keys are required to open the Lock Boxes; specifically the respective biome key. These are intended to be an alternative for opening the biome chests in the dungeon, and/or being another source of what they drop.

Although I didn't try out the mod you should make it a hardmode drop since getting it from prehardmode would be kinda weird. Overall mod seems good!

@ToTemmean15 They drop from normal and hardmode crates but can only be opened with their keys once Plantera is defeated. This might change depending on feedback, but that's how the logic works as of now! :zaggrin:

@MeleeTech thanks for the feedback! I did make a port of this to 1.3 and added support for Thorium biome chests, as well. I'm hoping to see more biomes come to 1.4 - the code and art ready and waiting! Haha

Very cool. A simple but smart idea, as some worlds have a chance to not actually spawn a biome chest in the dungeon.
Also anything to give fishing more variety is always nice.
