i love the idea of this mod, but there's no other like it on the workshop. i'd like to update/remake it myself.
problem is, i have no idea what to change. the only mod i've made is 1 turn research and 1 turn construction for every faction and every tech/building.
could you possibly let me know what you changed to let all units be recruited from the start? i'll do the rest from there. thanks.

I am struggling to update all my mods while dealing with real life responsibilities. Sorry mate for any delay but currently cannot make any promises for updates. I am still evaluating the work and time needed for these tasks. Trust me it hurts me more than must of you to see my work being wasted after the new updates. I have spent many hours on all my mods and now I need to redo most of them and all this many years after the original release of the game

It is really not that hard to play the game with this mod on. I just clicked and played (with patch 17 of course). I dont know why you face so many difficulties..

So you rec that I switch to patch 17 and verify file integrity with all mods deleted? I'll try that, just not rn cuz I got no time lmao

Try at first running the game vanilla and just this mod and slowly add new mods until you discover which is responsible for the crash.

Guys the mod works properly. I just loaded the game with patch 17 so there is no problem. There is some possibility some of you have installed in the past some kinds of mods that remain active even though not checked in mod manager. This is a kbown issue that is fixed only by completely removing those mods from the file folder

Not an update for patch 18 sorry. This needs extensive work and I dont have the free time currently. I will try to fix the issue for patch 17 though.

@Phalangitis I tried using patch 17, but the game crashed on me, so I went back to 18.

You can only use it for patch 17 yet
I am trying to find the time to update for patch 18
For those using patch 17 the mod works 100%

Thanks. I am back from a buiseness trip I was but I found my main hard drive almost unreadable. I am in a very tiring process to save as much data I can so I think you all can understand why there is so much delay..
I will try my best to get my pc working again and finally answer whether this mod will get updated or not. Sorry guys once more

SUCKS that there is no other mod that duplicates this mod and this mod wont be updated. So hard to get a competitive game with the AI on their armies of levies.

I promise that I will try. To be honest though my free time is very limited lately. Imagine that to fix Sell your Slaves It took me almost 1 month. Back in the old days I would do it in just 1 hour. Supply lines is also in my to do list..

Would you make this mod working with your other realistic mods?Because with most of the other mods it dosen´t crush the game,but the game loads and loads and won´t start.I also would love to see the supplie lines work again.

This mod can be usedwith patch 18 but will work only for the old units and the old buildings of patch 17. Unfortunately I dont have the time to update for the new units and buildings patch 18 brings.

Did anyone find at least a bit similar mod ? I loved this one but it won´t be probably updated. Anyway big thanks to autor. You made my game much funnier :)

Currently I am away from my pc. From what I remember though I just changed the buildings that units are recruited. Instead of being recruited fRom barracks I made all units available from all cities or towns types

@Phalangitis may I ask how you made this mod? on the units allowed table what columns did you leave on?

also while using your mod i found a glitch basically i cant ally to some nations

@Phalangitis I'm very sorry you can barely get time for your family, I only make the humble request that you update it when you can, just not forget about it. I know how tricky it can be to update a mod, it took me a collective 6 hours to optimize my 2 mods, so I definitely understand your pain
