Will there be a "Forced" way to open the UI in the future, or is this bug something that is known and being worked on?
And some clusters have automatic mod updates etc, so without having access to the server control panel you don't know what mod has been updated unless you look at the mods directory on your own pc.
Still love the mod, but communication should have been better.
Like you said, you should have noted about the default value change, cos even if I'd looked at the change notes there was nothing in there saying it'd had gone from default 100 to default 5auto 5 manual which is a massive change.
I guess I should've noted about the default value change, but after talking to fellow modders, and some other server owners who use my mod, seems like the absurd previously like 100 default saves was un-needed and way too high, and they all ended up turning it down.
Then I had a few people test out the updates, and brought to my attention that the disk space isn't crazy, but given the data, it could get crazy.
I checked the older cluster to see if I'd had anything in the gus.ini that I'd missed in the new ones, but nothing, everything was default config so no entries in the gus.ini
But now it looks like it's only saving 5 automatic and 5 manual saves per player as standard?
If this is correct then you should really have made it much clearer as it's a major change in the way the mod works. I've now got to go into the GUS.ini for around 20 maps and restart them.
Every mod does this, and has practically always done it.
I never even realized it was broken like that.
I'm working on an update to add some things, and I will fix that.
hey, your mod is amazing. Have you thought maybe to combine your two mods as one? I mean : Item Transfer Controller and Inventory Backup System. Because people don't like to play on servers where there are a lot of mods. And it would be nice if there was 1 mod with the contents of these two.
and not only for inventory?
Is it possible to add a command to open the GUI? Because there is a plugin that allows you to assign appropriate permissie roles and such a command will make work much easier.
Also nice that the persistent buff HUD icon is gone as well.
We use the Upgrade Station mod, and some of our players have spent hundreds of thousands of materials upgrading and augmenting the federation armour, and they prefer the measly 200 armour per piece compared to 1400 per piece, just because of the infinite durability.
I had to add error check into the admin UI, so if you deleted a file, any other reference to that file, that my mod stores will also be removed.
One question with GlobalTimer set to true are all players backup up at the same time, and with it false it is tracked per player?
I am wondering which is best performance wise with a large number of players.
Thank you and keep up the great work.
