Rammy, Unfortunately, the model isn't a 100% replica of the prototype, which had custom built dynamic brakes on one locomotive. I'm working on a three part scenario (my first new one in a while), and I had to put in the instructions that you WILL have to breach the speed limit at least a couple times, but use of loco and train brakes in tandem can reduce the overage to a degree. We have to remember its all in fun, if it were the prototype, we'd have the correct equipment for these grades...and there are plenty of locos in TSC that can do this...but they look nothing like the switchers that were actually used on this line. These do look like them, with different paint and attributes. I hope you'll enjoy some of my others!

That was a tough Scenario for me. had a runaway on the way down but got away with it and managed to stop at Mario i did notice the Loco's had Dynamic Brakes but i couldn't get them to work which keys operate them. Thank You.

dmgibbs1997, I don't know why that comes up, or how to remove it (it doesn't appear as selected on the "Required DLC" list). I do use people/figures in my scenarios from Kuju, but I think that is just the general US assets pack, not Metropolitan. There are definitely no trains from Metropolitan used here, so it should work for you.

Does this scenario actually require the Metropolitan Line?

Tsitsho--interesting trivia! Thanks! I'm not sure how familiar you are with the prototype WVN, but in its last years, it became a tourist railroad under the ownership of "Kingwood Northern, Inc." 4 of the 6 seasons the tourist railroad operated, the Kingwood Northern offered special truncated train rides up to Howesville and back, picking passengers up right at the Buckwheat Festival grounds. The ride lasted exactly 50 minutes, just enough time to get up and back running every hour on the hour. Its such a shame what happened to the real line, but I am most grateful to those who thought of it enough to re-create it in virtual form. I was never much of a gamer type...I never played video games as a kid like my peers, but when I saw they had WVN, my jaw dropped to the floor and I was all in. And I always will be for as long as the game is available to play.

Thanks for a really enjoyable scenario. The retainers proved useful, Adding the coal cars at the end took some finesse. Piece of buckwheat trivia: I believe Hammondsport, NY holds the record for the world's largest buckwheat pancake. Looking forward to part 2. Good premise behind the two scenarios.
