Items with Luminary might have an issue being sold to merchants.
Been trying to sell this one Amulet, and despite using the Balance button, they are insulted by the offer, and won't buy it.

I have the script extender, but the Luminary skill tree doesn’t show up, and the skills do rot damage.

it doesn't work. I loaded it by itself with no other mods and of course with the pre reqs but theres no luminary skill to invest in, you can't select it as a starter class, and when i did find the spells they dont do light damage they do void damage

What's the compatability with Epip Encounters like? I'm aware it edits UI, and likely conflicts, but I would hope for compatability instead of having to disable Epip's UI editing.

so hay something is wrong my armor bonuses and stuff keep vanishing i have to take off all my armor constantly and put it back on to get the bonus back

Was this ever made compatible with the conflux overhaul mod? It used to mess with the damage numbers from the spells from the overhaul mod

1) Don't these effects slow down the game too much?
2) NPC also receive equipment and skills?

ya i have it on a recording happening with luminary for my youtube run, sucks because i was really enjoying luminary but now i cant use the skills at all either can my buddy who's playing with me, they're just greyed out on the hot bar

That is a vanilla issue that has to do with entering and leaving the mirror while changing All Skilled Up, Bigger and Better, or Polymorph. You can find documented steps to reproduce the glitch via Google.

This isn't something that Luminary should be able to trigger as the scripting calls I use to edit skill points don't allow for underflowing the available points value as far as I have experienced.

i respeced out of luminary and it ended up glitching out and giving me 240+ points to use.... so something much of broken with a update. we are using 100+ mods but conflux, leaderlib are the ones updating the most.

@lucaspetraud I have a class mod in the works with curse undertones in a similar capacity to how Luminary has bless undertones. I am wrapping up a huge update to CDT, after which time I have a smaller mod I want to make. After I am finished with that mod, I will get back to the class mod. Between real life, other games, Glyphwarden, and script extender updates, it got put on the backburner.

I posted a video of some of the completed beginner spells in the Larian discord a while ago if you're interested in a preview. Development is paused but I'll get back to it soon.

Focus has mentioned before that there is another class in the works, which will incorporate the curse. The most recent update I have found on that is from August, with Focus stating that the project was temporarily paused while they worked on Custom Damage Types. As of the update, ten of the around 45 skills were finished.

Luminary does not work in GM mode and I don't plan to add compatibility. The UI files for GM mode are different than the files for Story mode. In addition to porting over the changes necessary for Story mode, I'm not familiar enough with GM mode to know which differences would require extra work nor am I willing to devote the time to investigate since I have new projects I want to work on.

I know Vanilla+ is also popular in GM mode, which will have compatibility issues with Luminary and CDT.

Looking forward to future updates! At the moment since i'm on finesse i've just been using spears/bows as stat sticks, or even dual daggers for intensify scoundrel synergy, so many options <3

Moreso it isn't unintentional. Changing the generated boosts on already-created items requires remaking those items with those boosts swapped out and then deleting the original item. While not impossible, doing this is beyond the scope of the purpose of the command.

I'm working on updating CDT and Luminary to take advantage of script extender v58 and v59 features. When I push the Luminary update, I'll set the commands to make new light weapons on the vendors have a boost for the appropriate stat instead of intelligence. Already-created items will not be changed though.

Hello, I've noticed that using the overrides in the chat does work for the gear, however it doesn't change the stats the gear provides. For example, changing it to Finesse override still makes the club and staff give +1 int instead. Is this intended?

All the AI have access to these spells for some reason. Is there anyway to stop this?

To be blunt, it could take hours of troubleshooting to narrow down a potential conflict in a modlist of that size and that's not something I'm interested in doing. If this is the only mod that is giving you problems, then you should just disable it.

@Mcdoogle3000 This sounds like some sort of initialization failure when trying to retrieve mod information that has been baked into the save. I don't know what would cause this to fail, let alone do so intermittently. If you upload your save, I can look into it and see if I can recreate the issue, but I haven't experienced that problem before.

@Toshiro03 Did you try entering the command twice? The first message you type into the chat box when loading up a save doesn't create an event for the mod's scripts to act on. You can send an empty message first and then enter the command again, or just type the command twice. I'm not having any issues with the commands myself.

Sometimes when I load a save all my character's luminary skills are all unmemorized and gone as well as the skill points. Can't even fix by adding skills again and respeccing with mirror because all the skill points I put into luminary vanish and I can't re add them with the mirror

@Doctor Beetus that message poped out when Extender was in the default bin folder. That was my mistake. I put it in DE bin folder and now everithing is working fine)))

Unable to create working story? That's because you're missing mod dependencies or the extender. If you have the extender in the right folder now then it's some mod dependency you're missing.
