If I ever pick up modding again, I will most likely redo this mod as a CE compatible weapon set.
im kind of humgy :(
This mod works by overriding vanilla weapons with custom values, but it doesn't remove any vanilla data - just replaces it. So it relies on that to work.
you have no clue how many people tell me that my guns are often too dark
i did this beacuse they fit the mood of what they were originally supposed to be used in
The main issue here is that the gun textures are shrunk down a lot from their original size, so they get compressed and certain details are lost - this tends to be the thin parts like the trigger and trigger guard on most guns.
I tried to get around this with the Enable Oversized Weapons mod (which also helps with scaling), but it can only do so much. We could potentially thicken the lines up but that's a request for Mike since he's the artist, then I'll implement them.
Originally this mod was developed as a proof of concept. Mike's guns are made in Adobe Flash and are intended to be used with flash animations. I just wanted to see what we could do to put them into Rimworld by transforming them into .png's. So far, I think it turned out pretty okay and that's why I uploaded it to the workshop.
