Ooooh, I see. So, planet threat levels of each star system have nothing to do at all with that indication.

@FrankyStein MPI uses the space encounter threat levels to determine system threat levels, so basically it's telling you the threat level of the space encounters rather than the planets

I'm confused about the star system threat level. Even with "MPI fixes" installed, all star systems seem to appear "risky" (or above). Shouldn't gentle stars be moderate?

Can someone explain this plz?

If you can't make this mod work properly with Biome Fix, might it be possible for you to incorporate a fix for that issue into yours instead? I'd rather not have to pick between this mod and that one, because even with Planet Search, which can find the biomes for me in the stars around me, knowing the biomes with a click on a planet is way too useful.

MPI is one of those "base mods" that really are nearly a standard to SB. So I'm glad I could help with your efforts to keep it working right.

OH! and I just saw! So thanks for the Credits! If I had any ability with LUA (and programming / scripting in general :steamfacepalm:) Id help more to get MPI all fixed in one place. :MooIdea:

Hello,

I was having some issues getting this mod to work.
I tinkered to test some things, and, after unpacking the mod, I edited the metadata file to include,

"includes" : ["MorePlanetInfo", "fsm1080standalone"],
"priority" : 99998

I then cleared out the steam data from the meta file, so I could run Starbound with this mod locally loading from the "mods" folder, and now everything works.

I dont know lua script at all really, but after a web search, it seems those two lines combined assures that it directly merges with both More Planet Info and the Full Screen 1920x1080 version. It will also make sure to overlay this mod last, after the script for the other two have loaded.

Again, not knowing lua at all, I was letting you know, so, if you knew better than I, you may say "Oh, I know exactly...!" and you can do a quick update to your mod to make it compatible with not just thees two, but many of the other MPI mods.

@LazerRay Unfortunately Biome Fix itself is actually rather broken as it is, particularly with quest markers, I wouldn't expect any update for it either as the mod author had lost interest in Starbound a long time ago. While I very much intend to stick around for a long time, I'm admittedly not good with lua coding so I'm not sure if I could make this mod of mine work with theirs (or fix the issue with their mod) anytime soon either.

This mod conflicts with More Planet Info: Biome Fix (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2554385889) , causing most biomes not to be listed.

I will leave this mod off until an update can be made.

Sadly, I'm experiencing the same issue as @Sync. Clicking on a Gas Giant with FU installed causes an "attempt to index a null value" error in the script.

@Bill-Kathrine they'd need permission from all the creators of said addons first, but yes, making a single addon that does everything the existing addons do is possible yes

@Armok this is an issue i have with and without this mod, i was just wondering if this mod was made to fix issues like it.

The bug isnt game breaking or anything, but it does prevent MPI from working for specific planet types. I also have the MPI official patch for FU installed, and this is also happening on cybersphere as well so im not sure FU is causing the issue.

I have had a bug with MPI where the nav screen freezes when i select a cybersphere or gas giant planet. Some other people online have had this bug, but provided no fixes. does this mod fix that bug?

I have FU installed, and when i looked at the log to find the bug it said:
"[Error] Exception while invoking lua function 'update'. (LuaException) Error code 2, [string "/scripts/util.lua"]:1001: [string "/interface/cockpit/cockpitview.lua"]:739: attempt to index a nil value (local 'display')"
followed by a stack traceback. I would be glad to send the full log/ do tests/ send my mod pack if you need more information.

@Jeanads english please, I'm not too confident in google translate's ability to translate what you're saying here, from what it says though you're having trouble selecting or flying to stars?

I would suggest resubbing to this mod and seeing if the issue persists, and also unsubbing to see if the issue might be coming from a different mod here as well

no, I use the mods from the Fu server pack together with Arcana.

Thanks for replying, and yes, I've already announced it to Arcana's devs.
I hope that someday it will be fixed. because I love these mods a lot.

and yes also , it worked perfectly with the Official Patch MPI FU

@Ashtar yeah, it should be compatible with the official FU patch, as for the Arcana issue you might want to report that bug to Arcana's dev themselves actually, are you using the biome fix mod too though? it's broken unfortunately

I'm getting an exception with the asteroid fields. Log says that it is a bad argument, that it expected a table when it got nil. Makes the cockpit interface freeze until Escape is pressed, preventing from bookmarking the place

Idk about a log since I'm not sure something such as me not being able to land on a planet would make it into the files. Also I don't think it's this mod because I uninstalled it and I still couldn't land. Most of the mods I have for asteroids change how ore spawns on them in some way so there could be a confliction with that.I also have Asteroids Oresteroids 2 but that adds a planet type so it doesn't count. Probably.

I've also just noticed that asteroid belts seem to be suffering from the same bug errored planets have with how your screen freezes when zoomed in on them, I think I can fix that bug though

So uh, Asteroid belts aren't broken for me, however, I can no longer land on them. This might be because I have some mods that affect asteroids. Still an excellent mod!
