No prob, hope you enjoy it too, had a great time with some cav heavy army lists for Dark Elves in a campaign over the weekend. Ultimately wouldn't say made them into "doom stack" armies, but remarked to myself last night been a long time since actually felt like they're capable units, ie had more than few battles trying to gut chaos invasion and those doom cannons, normally used to just dealing with them with flyer cheese etc but this time around my cav actually be intercepted, get in some melee, etc and then still break away and least interfere with arty of enemy before absolutely routing from the match, if not, survive through the match more than once and surprised me lol

Tried it with cav beta too, was better than cav beta by itself, but I tested bout three matches of that before deciding to just give up on that beta altogether. I don't care about maths they did, it looks and feels horrible to play with imho.

I've personally found this tweak to much more to my tastes (for single player purposes, have not tested multiplayer)

The increased mass solves the issue of units being too effective at counter charging

The no messing with infantry mass means no worries for balance there (ie with them vs infantry, something the cav beta does not even talk about)

Units still charge through their own unit so even tho the increased mass is literally denying them attacks(by sending them flying or knocking them on their ass) anti large units still will deal decent damage, and bracing is super effective(honestly no clue what smoking there with the beta, not like unit bracing was never in the game lol)

The speed and accel also help cav get out of being tied down without them just being able to straight up cheese out of a melee they are legit bogged down into.

How does this compare to the Calvary beta update for warhammer 2?
