re. modding question: yes, the center is offset by 0.5 from how it would be on an odd numbered turret. You should be able to just move the barrel transform, and it will handle it.
but how do make a even numbered dimension-ed turret like that?
it's a even number so it seems that i need to offset the center pivot thingy bye 0.5 blocks.
because when i fill in the cells there position wont be offset correctly
but then that means it messes up the rotation pivot. but then if i put the pivot back in to the center
then it wont be offset again
i want water what mod i need for that
Give the Hawkeye Perses Cruiser Turret a longer range;
It's description suggests that it would be capable of targeting enemies outside of the typical range of Terra Tech ballistic weaponry. Plus. Who doesn't like obliterating enemies from miles away with cannon shells.
Casemate cannon is in the style of dreadnought battleship casemate secondaries.
Broadside cannon was me taking the gun used in the casemate cannon (literally the same barrel model, and same bullet stats), and sticking it in a turret suitable for use on the broadside of a boat as secondary armament. Note the armor on the front with a lack of APs.
Haven't used it yet though...

I severely limited the traverse angle for several reasons related to balance and other things. The number one reason why I won't change it now:
Having the cellmap fully map to the firing arc is something I try my best to do, since I find clipping weird.
If I expanded the amount of space it takes up, it would make aesthetic builds extremely constrained. Also it would break any existing builds that rely on the current hitbox size.
Regardless, it's absolutely possible to get better rotation by either:
- sticking it on an anchored turret with a rotating anchor
- Using it on a multitech turret
- Using a separate mod like control blocks
A mod that adds compatibility is being worked on
