Will this mod still function if it is placed on a stone area that has since been covered with another floor? For example, if I place a steel tile over rough marble, will I still be guaranteed to get marble, or will it revert to random?

I made a new map with map designer and it has stone types differently from the default ones the map previously had.

Thank you for the settings that allow us to turn this off: "For balance reasons, by default only natural stone types of your map will produce their own chunks, just as it is in vanilla. "

Unfortunately, adding a setting for auto-hauling of chunks is proving much more difficult, and I haven't been able to add it so far. I'm poking at it, but I can't promise anything because it looks like it might require a transpiler to patch it in.

- Add a setting that allows drilling non-native patches of stone for the relevant chunks.
- Add a setting that allows drilling stone from stone patches in biomes that normally wouldn't allow deep drilling for stone, such as sea ice.

A bit of an unusual request, but would it be possible to make a mod setting that does allow the deep drill to mine up chunks that aren't strictly on the map list?

I understand the reason you made it the way it is and normally I'd agree wholeheartedly with the decision. However, I am in the strange position where I have legacy saves that have been running for the better part of 3 IRL years, ever since 1.0. Every time Rimworld has an actual version update, it's shuffled the natural stone types on my colony maps, and I'm no longer able to dig up the stone chunks that match the actual construction of the colony. As far as i can tell, there's no way for me to change the stone types on any given map because it's actually set by the world generator: I can't even reproduce the planet that some of these maps are on because the world generator has changed so much that the same seed results in a completely different map.

@Xeonzs Will be nice if added, alternatively / until then, if you set a stockpile up around the deep drill and disallow chunks, they'll be auto-hauled :P

@Xenonzs Sure! That seems like a nice QOL improvement. I'll definitely look into it, along with a way to automatically limit stone production.

I know the quarry is a mod of it's own, but I figured it would increase the value of this mod if it did that too.

Could you add by default or perhaps an option that chunks spawned this way are set to be auto-hauled? Like the quarry does?
It would just be a good QoL improvement.
