unfortunately i was not able to figure out how it works so i just gave up lol. As much as I would like to use the mod again I dont want to be so op so i choose to not make the game unbalanced. Thanks for the help the mod is still good though.

I don't remember what tools I used to mod DOS2, been a long time. I think it's a tool called Divinity Engine 2, which should be in your Tools in your Steam library.

is it possible to release a different version with like 1% resist per level? or better yet can you just tell me what tool i need to edit your mod file.

By modifying mod, yes. I don't remember the specifics, but it is possible.

is there a way to lower the resistance amount per level? I use a mod that gives me the option to surpass the level cap so having over 100% resistance will be a problem.

all mods needs to be synced in multiplayer. You simply can't play multiplayer with mods if all players don't have same modlist.

i absolutely love this, i am having issues though with it, the changes work but not consistently. at random times the mod will stop taking effect, for either all or just some of the resistance stats on the character page. and it doesn't seem to be just a visual mistake on the page, because when a resistance is lower there it affects how much damage my character takes. any idea what's going on?

Hey thanks for making this.. I was wondering if there's any way to make it display as a total % increase in 1 line instead of for example, a 15% increase showing as 3 stacks of 5%.. as it just looks a bit messy.. Otherwise, great mod!

Battlemages are so rough, is mostly the reason. That and the times you and friends want to 4-man mage.

Yea, but that's why you have a tank in the party, right? ;)

If mages can tank, what's even the point of having tank character if your mages can tank too, but on top of that cast powerful spells :P

The thing is, necro school is already pretty versatile, lifesteal is pretty pog stat to have. Slapping physical res on top would make it simply superior to any other.

I've yet to try this mod, but after reading Enyo's comment I'm rather interested in a blood mage frontliner who can tank physical! :brawler:

No clue, test it. But it should be compatible with pretty much anything, simply based on fact that it builds on top of Aero/Geo/Hydro/Pyro schools

For some reasons this mod has a issue with menus for me: whenever i have Character sheet open and go into Talents/Tags (they have slider) it wont really allow me to scroll down or even go down in the list because after every second or two it just goes to the top (teleports the slider to the top)
I have tested this with only this mod enabled and issue still persists.

yeah this is wild. it's still going and it stops when i disable the mod. I'm gonna just assume this is something wrong on my end and i'll sort this out eventually.

Now that's extra weird (the lag in main menu), I myself have like 60 mods running, and it works :shrug:
I honestly don't know how it could interfere with anything. The mod consists of 2 scripts that are not connected to anything and 4 invisible potions effects.

I ought to have mentioned, I was also experiencing some ungodly lag in menus while i had the mod active. maybe that had something to do with attacks not registering? it also happened outside of combat while i was testing whether attacks wouldn't work. (attacking teammates, doors, etc) I'll start a new game from fort joy to test things, see if a few combats will sort it out. this a really cool mod and it'd be a real shame if it were unusable for me with my current mod set up. (which is probably too many tbf.)

That's weird, just looked through script (it's literally 2 scripts with 80 lines) and stats tables (literally 4 entries), and there is nothing that's even remotely connected to attacks. What I did notice before though, that enabling mods sometimes ♥♥♥♥♥ up combat in next combat or two, try to keep it enabled for 1 or 2 more combats.

really baffling bug. for some reason, this mod causes basic attacks to sometimes not hit. not because of accuracy, there's no "MISS" popup. you just do the attack animation, expend the AP, and no effect.
