I meant save\load.
What if I try to add hidden weapons through the console without loading the save?
It doesn't work, as I understand it?
It's possible to permanently break your campaign if this mod is used carelessly. Use at your own risk.
Does this mean that I will need to replay the game from the moment of this save? Or I will need to:
1. Upload a save before edits
2. Hide unnecessary but not problematic weapons
3. Download the latest save
Is there no way to reset it other than maybe removing it in the modset for a new campaign?
Here's my question: I want to replace all my vanilla weapons with the CoD's, but don't want to change their attribute, so I use XSkin to replace the skin only. Now I want to hide these CoD's weapons from soldier's "load" menu, because so many items make me hard to choose the basic weapon type (such as rifle, smg, sniper...). But after hiding those, XSkin can't show them when I switch "category filter" to on (because I just want to replace skin with the same type and same tier), I need to switch "owned filter" to on to show them, which howerver show every tier of the same type... So what can I do to hide the mod weapons from "load", but show them as usual on "reskin weapons"? Thanks!
Thank you so much. I have something in mind, I type iridar and I get an answer with a working solution every freaking time. Bless you.
What are you trying to do, exactly?
Whether that's due to the functions themselves, or their interactions with my many, many other mods; this fixed it up in the mere few minutes it took to click all of the damned [X]'s. Savior.
I wouldn't recommend doing that.
You would break the game.
Not really, this is expected behavior. You don't neet to turn off all filters, just the OWNED filter. NPC stuff can be permanently removed from appearing by blacklisting them in config. You can also search for specific skins using the search button.
Is it possible to set it up so i just have the skins available without it being in the inventory/loadout screen without putting it to show all skins cuz then the list is too bloated with upgraded tier ones and npc stuff?
Ahh.. ok I gotcha.. my bad,, Got my mods mixed up. I totaly forgot about XSkin and thought this one handled that.
If you're talking about XSkin, it has a configurable weapon exclusion list.
Shouldn't be necessary
fukfukfuk. ill did take it further, i deinstalled it bcs nothing happened, and i thought looking for debug with my 300 mods...nah..ill try it again:) thx- im an dum......s
I suppose I could use reskin for that, would probably only set my game progress back a bit. Menu might get a bit crowded, but I can deal with that.
I think you misunderstood what mcm options do. The three checkboxes at the top just determine what items you can see in the list below. You can hide only specific items one by one.
That said, I wouldn't recommend hiding vanilla weapons, as that could break your campaign.
The MCM options is just a broad sweep that erases everything in the game, with only mod weapons available to select.
Cause my highest attack power weapons are mixed in the mid of the list.
