There is a tutorial video about this on this page :D

I have figured it out. To manually interact with an inventory, you need a Jerrycan. Middle clicking will show information about the inventory. I still kinda wish it was more like an actual inventory, considering how fluids do have their own inventory items, but it works once you understand what to do I suppose.

With a jerrycan or through pipes. With a jerrycan, left click to fill, right click to remove, middle click to change fluid when using a creative jerrycan

How is the inventory accessed? I can't figure it out, nor can I figure out how to access the inventories of any other things such as fluid tanks either.

thanks for help

But you don't need it to start the engine. Make sure you have control over it and are using the correct key/joystick control
peaceman  [author] Jun 23, 2022 @ 12:36pm
Just place it somewhere next to the engine, so it is attached

Hello, I have a problem, my engines won't start, I have connected the fuel and lubricant but don't know how to connect the radiator

For yall arguing about steam engines being a external combustion engine just google it it literally says that it is considered an external combustion engine. This is due to the fluid that is used to do the work being separate from the combustion that heats up the fluid. On old trains you had to shovel coal into it making the combustion external
stanpauls Dec 19, 2021 @ 2:38pm
or like saying the gas tank is part of an internal combustion engine
Johnbeere Oct 28, 2021 @ 3:11pm
Look it up - steam engines are external combustion, lol. The boiler is not part of the engine - the engine is strictly the cylinders, valves, valve gear, etc., not the steam supply. Sort of like saying that the power plant is part of an electric motor - it's not.
alfox Oct 28, 2021 @ 7:01am
@johnbeere the boiler of a steam engine is a part of the engine because if you remove it it does not work
glassua.che Oct 28, 2021 @ 5:40am
Can't understand, where to find curde oil? I place oil drill on a sand (tried on the beach and in the desert), put oil pipe into inventory, place windmill and connect to the drill (it is turming) but output is empty =( Where i am wrong?
Johnbeere Oct 28, 2021 @ 3:47am
Steam engines really are external combustion engines - the combustion takes place outside of the engine, in the boiler.
alfox Oct 28, 2021 @ 3:14am
ok that was joke external combustion engine does not existe (the combustion in a stam engine is inside unless if you can find a locomotive that is on fire)
Johnbeere Oct 27, 2021 @ 1:14pm
Yes, steam engines.
alfox Oct 27, 2021 @ 7:08am
wait there are external Combustion Engines ?
Johnbeere Sep 6, 2021 @ 9:14am
Higher rpm cap, different sound, different fuel, and lighter. They're now required for aircraft, steam engines no longer are suitable for aircraft.

PEACEMAN AYYYY
btw, how do they differentiate from steam engines?

@Oldru_Valliére Oh, we're firmly in the mid-20th century now.

Peaceman operates a server, PlanetsNoLag, which is currently in-between seasons right now, but will be starting up again in the next couple months probably. The modset for the server can be found here, and contains a bunch of WW2-themed mods, including modern artillery, cannons, small-arms, and so on: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2297033591
Oldru_Vallière Aug 31, 2021 @ 11:06am
and we have now finally moved out of the industrial age and are even closer to the modern era
peaceman  [author] Aug 31, 2021 @ 4:29am
It is
Kill3rCat [1st FORECON] Aug 31, 2021 @ 3:53am
Yep, he's nuts that one. Bear in mind I am pretty sure you will need the 'Conveyors and Pipes' mod if you don't want to fuel the engines manually. https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2226295003

I don't know if it's automatically loaded with this mod, but it's not listed as a dependency on the right so I assume not.

No way, new Peaceman drop???
