It definitely does. I happen to use the Restored mod with this by chance and everything seemed to work.

Honestly completely forget if I replaced every single line, I'm pretty sure i did, so as long as it uses the files that come with the game (and therefor the ones being replaced by mine) it *should* work

Does this also replace the unused lines restored by 'Nihilanth Lines Restored'?

Is there any way this can be done for the Gonarch somehow? That and the Tentacles are the only enemies in the game that haven't gotten this treatment yet.

I'll try to see how I can fix it, maybe I'll try reinstalling it and mess with audio settings

If you've confirmed it is indeed the mod, i have no clue what could be causing a crash upon an audio clip playing other than corruption, is your audio quality set different maybe?
I sadly can't test but if an update has broken the mod in the last 2 years there's not much i can do as of now.

I actually checked the files just now, Restored Nihilanth Quotes seems to reimplement quotes that are included in the files for Black Mesa but unused in the final game. This mod includes the files unused in Black Mesa, so it should be compatible

Sadly probably not, if it implements new voice lines, then no, though if you load this one first (second?) it should replace all but the new lines with the hl1 ones.

Tragically, i must concede as ive uninstalled black mesa since, and regardless i considered doing it at some point but upon putting it through the wringer it came out sounding honestly nearly identical to the black mesa sounds, not as aggressively higher pitched but definitely sounding similar enough that i didnt feel the need to replace it as the default black mesa one practically does it the same

I replaced all nihilanth voicelines with the old ones, so if you mean the voice in your head parts, than yes it does
