Hi @1trickPwnyta, many thanks to you for such an amazing mod! Do you have any plans updating for 1.4 and the new DLC?

Dispenser aren't random on which hopper is choosen... it's the most counter-clockwise hopper that is chosen for materials. Only reason it might be different is if that hopper doesn't have enough and then it moves to the next in a counter-clockwise fashion. This is the reason I don't leave hoppers set to accept everything. I filter them for no other reason than to avoid all hoppers from having less than a meal and no more of each material in hoppers to refill them.

Just posted on both just to see who would add compatibility first.

@hellwatcher it was confirmed to be compatible on the other mod's page and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

Thanks I havent noticed Better Nutrient Paste Dispenser before. Though it's for 1.2 it seems to be working.

It seems that eggs have a similar problem since they also have 0.25 nutrition

Anyone using vanilla fishing expanded? Some of the large fish have 0.25 nutrition so they are unfeasable for nutrient paste because it requires 0.30 nutrition to make a meal. the result is that it uses two large fish (0.5) nutrition for a meal which is a big waste :) My solution was to just fish medium fish for the nutrient paste dispenser.

could you also add a right click option to the dispenser to manually grab paste?

I often have starving colonists who are to lost to feed themselves and currently they can only grab paste automatically. =/

Seemed like the best mod / author to request this.

Such a small thing, but feels so satisfying. Great QoL idea. I started a new colony today, and rolled no one with cooking better than 2, so I went for the NPD for the first time in a while and re-noticed exactly your point about selection and expiration.
