W mod, ty Safari Mesh for the compatibility for Aegis too. i just wish that 6.8x38mm was fixed to 6.8x39mm (before you reply to this I have not searched if any other comment states this) lowkey, love it either way

@Grave I really like that you removed that shine from the vanilla MX versions, now they are matte. But you in vain removed the inscriptions. It looked quite harmonious in my opinion. Rifles without inscriptions look too simple. I once loaded your mod, but was forced to remove from them due to excessive simplicity.

@Ice, retexture of sights/reticles to my knowladge isnt possible, texture definetly cant be changed but maybe reticle can. and as for me its 06:30 in the morning and i aint slept yet or else that quick response would have come in the for mof me actually fixing the mod

@Grave Woohoo! Thanks a ton for the quick response on both. Yeah, the mod is super big, haha. Like two dozen or more mods in it, and doesn't really work for public use.

Another idea I've had in my head for a while is making a retexture for the reflex optics in game. They're just so bright that it blocks your target sight picture. In real life we set them to be just a small dot brightness level so that you can accurately engage targets at medium range. Just an idea since you've done such great work overhauling weapon textures so far!

@Ice I will see about fixing up the MX caliber to the correct decal when i do the fire select edit, but i am veeeeery bust with E22 mod development right now. As for the mod containing smaller mods, If the mod yer putting together is really big then sure, if its only like 1-2 mods then i would recommend against it for update reasons. Otherwise i am alright with you doing that :) I really have to re-do the configs of this mod sooner or later to make it easier to update.

Hey Grave! Two questions!

Would you consider retexturing the caliber "6.5x38mm" to the correct "6.5x39mm"? It's always been wrong.

Also, would you mind if I included this in a mod containing a lot of smaller mods for my community? Would give full credit in the addon description. Just helps me with server management to consolidate them.

@TacticalMetalhead i am in contact with him and we know the exact reason for it, PBO name changes, problem is using the same code with updated file paths dosn't over-wright the Aegis guns code. We're a bit busy right now to look into it, but will do later down the line.

@Grave the author who created the Aegis compat for this mod claims "This compatibility patch randomly stopped working one day, and I have never been able to figure out why".

My assumption is the most recent update made to this mod broke the compatibility.

Love the mod. You're probably aware but this mod doesn't work with Aegis for whatever reason, and the compatibility seems to be out of date. Just in case you weren't I thought I might as well post it here. Thanks in advance.

Try packing the PBO with the official tool, and then sign it. That's usually the cause of this problem (and the solution).

@Grave well, when will the release be? I know that there is a Russian Forces 2035 mod, there are also additional monochrome textures for some CSAT vehicles, but I don't like this mod because of its poor quality. In this mod, Textures (uniforms, weapons, vehicles) in it are not pretty

@mickeyworld JointCom is already working on a Russian Armed Forces mod which uses the CSAT vehicles as the russian ones, this mod also includes full uniforms and AK-12 5.45 rifles. if that is the kind of thing you were refering to.

@Grave what are your thoughts on the addition of new colors for CSAT vehicles? Are you interested in this mod? Unfortunately, these vehicles have only one color - Hex, which is already pretty boring and is not compatible with Russian RHS forces, while most CSAT vehicles are made in Russia. If I were to create a mod in which CSAT vehicles would have two additional solid colors - Tan and Green. I would help you create these additional textures, if you extracted the standard HEX textures, and I would edit them using photoshop so that you would add them later.

@mickeyworld at this time there is no plans to do other weapons as this project was only done because of the scuffed black MX textures. And the decals were removed due to internal unit lore, the mod was only released due to several people requesting it.

try do other weapons also, for example AK-12 Its brilliance also confuses me. At the same time, I would not remove decals from weapons. Without this, there is no sense of weapon detail. The weapon looks poor
