Hey I can't get it to work.

I got the axe but when I try to do anything with it it's always stuck telling me,

"The command is already in progress"

So I then use the history command and it tells me,

"No commands in history"


If you get the time to look at this please do.

I saw your comment from earlier about unloadin/loading /restarting terraria.

I am currently doing that but it doesn't seem to be working for me.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I'm focused on making sure Ore Excavator is stable before working on porting this, since this is fully being re-written anyways. It could take a week, or it could take months. My goal is before the end of the year sometime.

I'd def wait for 1.4.4 update no matter how long it takes. It makes making arenas, digging out large areas and whatever infinitely quicker and painless.

The mod contains many references to many mods, and from many forms of media. Canonically, the axe actually belongs to a certain jungle dragon... Perhaps even some interesting things happen when they interact? Also has some quotes to Star Wars, etc. It's quite funny if you start digging around.

@JJ's Place if you're trying to create a xl world of calamity you might not need this mod. Since I have found that if you make the world sizes end in 2 it manages to create the brimstone crag. For example a size of 16802x2402 works quite consistently for me. But if you're making a infernum world you'll still need this since there are more incompatibilities between infernum and advanced worldgen.

This mod was initially designed for mod testing of OreExcavator, and never intended for full public use. It has since grown in popularity and we began redesigning it to be more flushed out as a standalone mod. So let me know how urgently you need it ported, and with what features.

You craft the axe with platforms and wood at a workbench. Then you select one corner of the world, then the opposite corner. Then you type something like "//flood honey" into chat without the quotes.

Ok thanks. I'll test when your 1.4.4 port comes out. And unfortunately when i've talked to certain devs about mod compatibility i get pretty much waved off. I realize now i should wait until the pressure of just porting their mods is done with and over before asking for new features.

For what you're asking, you'd be better off asking a developer to work with you to bridge the two mods and make them compatible.

This mod copies the raw data of a tile to another tile 1:1; it even prevents tile updates while doing so, allowing you to get things like half doors etc. When a mod is unloaded you'll be presented with a pink block that retains the data of the mod, until the mod is added once more. Any functionality this block normally provides will no longer be available until you remount the mod. So in theory, you can copy modded structures between worlds as you please, but if you unload the mod, the blocks you copied will not retain their functions, and will remain pink data blocks until you re-enable the mod.

Will i be able to copy and paste modded structures that crash world gen due to mod conflicts between worlds? Example Advanced world gen and Calamity do not work together at all. Could i take the Brimstone Crag bio me and add it to another world?

Fill will replace the entire area, set will replace only the tiles in that area, leaving air alone.

The mod will sometimes rarely get stuck trying to copy something to memory - I've never been able to replicate the issue, so let me know if you can reproduce it reliably

The "corruption is just it not updating adjacent tile connections - purely a visual conflict. The reason we don't is so that liquids don't update if you want to copy a box of fluid. Reloading the world will update the paste back to normal. As for the paste position - we're working on introducing new UI elements to make things easier for folks. If it really matters to you and you're doing smaller pastes, try Cheat Sheet's painting tool.

i tried the mod in preview version, so here are my note:

the copy is better than cut command cause cut will cause the tile to not blend in with each other and appear corrupted (probaly conflict with other mods?), it is advised to use the copy command and then delete the original part later if it is your first time try out this mod. (or just make a copy of the world)

the position cordinate could probably need to be highlighted as my dumb brain keep forgor where it is

the pasting position is kinda confusing for me as it seem to act differently based on which position was originally higher

but at the end at of the day, having such cool people making mods to support this game for free is so awesome and i am really happy to have this mods as it make all my trouble go away.
