I have added the "classic" halo text. since this is not a true UI element there is a delay because I am throttling the message. we'll use this for now, until i can figure out the math on displaying and moving the UI element dynamically.

Good mod, finally updated and seems fine, but I wish we have the classic version where the ammo is shown above the character's head instead. Any chance we can get that back? The current options where its shown (either below or on ur mouse cursor) are either too hard to see while in the thick of the fight or too distracting respectively.

For anyone wondering: updating display text causes a stutter, since the game has to process it. The solution is generally to remove the text that's already there and put up new text, although this can be tricky.

my rec? Have it work like speech: every time you fire, the new info appears above your head - have it only visible to the player doing the action, for obvious reasons. Might create a bit of spam, though.

Idk why but when you reload a magazine - game stutter for 1 - 5 seconds. Idk why, because number of ammo is like 120 and less. Do with this something!

Also has the same issue where if I have a gun on myself it lags when I reload any magazine of the brita mod (haven't tested vanilla). Was fine before but now it happens every time. If you drop the gun and reload it does not lag.

I have the same issue as PinkFate. This only started late in my run though, prior it was fine but now everytime my character puts a shell in a shotgun/bullet in a magazine there is quick freeze for like 1/10 a second.

It just has a short stutter each time my character reloads and the UI updates.

does the game lag? like stutter? or the mod that lags? do you have too much items in bag? like use a mod to hold lots of item?

How come theres a slight lag everytime it reloads?

Is it possible to scale the overhead text when you shout (by pressing Q) ? YOur overhead Ammo checker scales without issues with 4K. How to achieve the same with vanilla shouting...maybe also with Arsenal(26) GunFighter Mod (it has also some overhead Weapon oinfo which is really tiny..)

the TL;DR; yes, it's possible, but it would consume too much brain power, for a small gain over the current mods right now.

hello, I do believe this is possible, but, the logistics of it, is a nightmare. I'm pretty sure, there was an attempt, by someone. you'd have to think, on how to catalog and index each container. then, where to store this information. and then the information attached to each character. then, you'd need to tell the mod, what to index, you dont want it to index the whole world. you dont want to run by a trash can and get that indexed. when you search how would you know where that container is? and arrow? the name of the container? just too much questions.


there are mods that auto sorts your inventory, to nearby containers.
there are mods to sort by lots of new categories.
these might might.

Hey I have a question, can you make a quality of life search bar? So every time you check your inv, or search anything, there will be a small search bar, so people who have a bunch of stuff in a container and can't seem to find what they stored in there, can just search it in the container, and get it out of it quick and easy without spending 30 minutes searching. If this is already a mod please link me to it
