Thank you for taking a look into it. It probably isn't possible because using a picture for fog would use more data and most games are stingy with data.

I'm not sure it's possible, because I believe the fog is just a db number, since I am not sure I'll have a look.

But take in note I'm fairly busy this week, so I'll begin at earliest trying at friday.

Someone made another "modern" or civilized map mod, however they added provincial names to the map. I like this change, however they also used a weird filter that blurs the image. I don't like that change and your mod is superior in that respect.

The challenge I have to offer both of you is to make a mod that replaces fog areas with the original map. Showing just provinces but not showing where a city is or who ocupies the city.

And in this mod, that's basically what it should do, the barbarian lands are wilderness, making in harder to navigate your campaign here.

Can you put back the names of the provinces without their names - it will help a lot.If a new player dont know where is capadokia and galatia and have mission to capcure all towns there he would spend 2-5 min to find them on the map.Great mod btw

So, according to this map Arabian Peninsula is greener than Turkey, eh? :) That is a slight problem I guess.

How is it you can't remove it? Because that must be a mod manager problem. Anyways:
MANUAL UNINSTALL GUIDE:
1. Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\data (or another place if you installed the game somewhere else)
2. Find main_rome_map.pack
3. Delete it.
WARNING: DONT REMOVE ANY OTHER PACK
4. Try if it's gone now
It should be gone.

Looks okay but it is less user friendly. I can't see my armies and agents on the minimap which is annoying. And you can't see the provinces on the map which is again quite annoying. Having said that, I can't disable this mod (or remove it). I like this mod but I feel it's not quite ready yet.

Your map looks really good, but I didnt realize that by examining it I was also downloading it, which I didnt intend to do. I actually dont like the way it looks in game. I am trying to remove it, but it is not appearing under Mod Manager. Do you have any idea what I need to do to remove this mod from my game?

ok so i found 2 problems one its not updated for patch 12. and 2 you may want t othis t othe whole map it seems you only have europe at the moment but i tlooks cool so keep it but good work.

If i understand you start a campaing in a specific faction historical goal, but you have noo limit to move around Europe?

The game works fine, but the map does not. However I could not imagine my other mods interfiering with it. :(

It depends on which celts your talking about, because celt is a blanket term the Romans gave to alot of different people.

I'd encourage you to apply the same technique to the whole map: civilized world and other. It sems a pity the barbarians get the pretty bits and we civilized Romans must suffer under the yolk of bland 2D cartography. The Senate and Plebs seek relief (mapping that is) ! ;) Keep up the good work.

The map looks so much better now
