Does it 100% have to require Royalty DLC under threat of breaking completely or can I use it with some functionality, ie faction and equipment/items?

I found a bug with the gene-seed implant. when they go to construct it removes the ui and breaks the pawn (pawn won't move). Idk if anyone else is experiencing this as it may also just be a load order issue for all I know

i dont know if its a mod compatibility problem but when a pawn/unit who is wearing the terminator helmets turns away from the camera, the helmet disappears, showing the back of the pawns head.

the research "AATerminatorArmor" has the prerequisite "AAPowerArmor" there is a typo "AAPowerArmors" this causes an error.

I can't seem to install a gene seed (f) into anyone, what's the difference between (s) and (f) anyways? I know stat wise but like, what do they each represent?

Hey, sorry if im missing something obvious but for some reason the ordo xeno (Specifically to my current save, but I image the issue persists with the other ordos) isnt a enemy with the other 40k faction mods. Like the Orks or dark eldar. Is this a load order thing or is it just not implimented. Oh, and dose anyone have any tips on how to fix the faction levels for this without going into the save file with note pad?

I'm using the mod "raids more me" and am unable to get a raid from any of the space marine factions to spawn, including those from the adeptus astartes mod. I also can't spawn a raid for any of the factions using dev mod. Has anyone else had a similar issue?

@Pege12, I haven't actually had the chance to test much. There are a few files the game draws on Royalty for, it will probably still load without but would be far from optimal.

Thanks! Iv just was really facinated with ideology features and thought about checking what WH mods are alive and probably made my own mod with ideology based features. Like "Cult Imperialis" meme that allows wider range of percepts related to Imperium - like questionable food (Corpse-starch), augmentations allowed etc. And also a related style to re-texture existing game items into WH alternatives avaliable for some more "civilian" factions.

But as I can see now WH mods are alive and supported.

@T-362, Shows how little chance I've had to actually play Ideology at this point I guess haha.

I plan on working on IG after my next mod so will definitely consider how I might use that feature for some of their gear!

"Ideoligions allow the selection of styles which then change the texture of the certain items and buildings when constructed by the colony. These style variants can be crafted if the colony has the selected style, or can be looted from raiders from factions with the requisite style." (you can check rimworld wiki page for "Recon helmet" to see good example).

At least this feature might be used for more common items like lazguns or AM flack armor, or SM chapter styles, if deathwatch got some custom stats.

@T-362, Not 100% sure what you mean. Ideology is supported and they do all generate Imperium ideologies, just haven't found a way to standardise the required/preferred apparel or force specific relics. The deathwatch faction should already spawn with the deathwatch weapons as they are slightly different and better versions of the standard one.

Im curious - is there a plan to add Ideology support? Besides memes and policies thehr also the styles, and they can help with item duplication (if it is an issue), as an example - style "Ordo Xenos" that gives to the generic "bolter" a look of "deathwatch bolter".

I just pushed out an update fixing all the immediate errors I am aware of and reworked the ideology generation for the factions, fixing all the issues and setting a template for an 'Imperium of Man' ideology with space marine specific roles (I will revisit the witch hunters when I flesh out the Ideology elements).

@Banaan, I would love to add unique mechanics to my mods like Ogliss has done with his Armoury but I still can't tell my arse from my elbow as far as C# goes. Would probably need a programmer to jump in and build those kind of things into my mods any time soon.

@Dominus Pizza, No plans for either any time soon, want to get my Chaos mod out first then maybe take a shot at the imperial guard. Love most of the factions in 40k just trying to cover some of my favourite/the biggest ones first.

@Beter, Hey, thank you! I'm trying to keep it all 'vanilla adjacent' for the most part, there's a lot great 40k stuff out there but a lot of it is a far cry from the base game style and always put me off :)

I'm using Adobe Illustrator like Saint Oskar of VE fame himself, I've barely an artistic bone in my body so his tutorials really helped get me up and running.

I've been trying to learn a bit of C# on and off to get more comfortable before I tackle patching what i've done so far for CE so not sure when I'll find the time atm. I've got 2 mods I definitely want to finish first so probably not in the next week but will probably take crack after i've gotten them out!

Hey @spencer7w this stuff looks amazing - looks like you're picking up the mantle of the Rimhammer 40k mod, without the vitriol and cringe that went along with it.

What program are you using to make your art assets?

Also, how far out do you reckon CE patches are from your mods? I'm definitely keen to try them out, but am in that woeful position of not being able to stand the non-CE version of Rimworld anymore.

To be honest the art side of it is what I'm enjoying the most (C# may as well be Mandarin) and I'm trying to keep my style as consistent as I can across my 40k mods as I get slightly better at it. Was there anything in particular you'd be keen to work on?
