Noob questions:
how do I make triggers for music ?
Is there a way to streamline the scen files without making some factions unplayable ?
I still had a lot of fun playing this map (I played single player), and I love seeing new contenders to the AoM creator community. Do not be discouraged!! I think the biggest take-away from this map is to focus on some of the smaller things in level design, and covering all the bases before looking at its epic level multiplayer/multi faction playability. If you ever need any advice, or tips about map design, feel free to add me, and ask away!
The Good:
-Lots of factions means big and bloody battles
-Use of Heroes/named units (good detail!)
-Big map with some facets to explore
-Triggers are not broken, the map works as intended
-There is definitely more than one way to achieve the map win condition during the siege, good replayability
The Bad:
-Missing basic triggers, such as music play
-The map suffers from its size, at times, as Troy is filled with pointless areas
-Lack of overall map polish makes a lot of areas not actually worth exploring (compare and contrast this with the positive point I made earlier)
-Some TC's have Settlements directly placed underneath them, which is odd, and sometimes made capturing said Settlement not possible
-There's like 20 scen files to pick, which is VERY confusing for the average person
-Myth units are missing, and military upgrades seem to research automatically, removing some level of player engagement
