It's conflicting with a a mod called iBuild it does not allow you to CTRL+L after save is resumed
Had to use Submenu command option from arma to allow me to use the torches again lol.

If you have a permanent saved mission and you find that the torches aren't working anymore
run this code on global player spawn WBK_CustomFlashlight;
It will turn on and off your lights every time you execute it

Hello, i noticed some probably unintentional behaviour, first when running ace and later without it.

All the items this mod adds act as a toolkit!

I was easily able to reproduce this by loading ace, cba and this mod, setting the ace repair setting so it requires a toolkit for repairing, and then pick engineer with a headlamp instead of the toolkit, repairing works.

Upon further testing this seems to be independent of ace, even in vanilla with just this mod and cba, having the items from this mod allows repairing and dealing with mines, in whats otherwise Vanilla.

The light and animation is there, but I don't see a model of the flash light (strong, or regular). Any idea why and what to do? The lantern works as expected, I see the model and light.

A compatibility patch for ITN would be nice, currently the flashlights of said mod doesn't have the volumetric effect

Is there any chance there is a script version available that could be used without the mod? As in, integrated in missions? Of course, with full credit. I can't find any solutions without using extra mods to integrated a simple flashlight/headlamp in a planned mission.

I know this hasn't been updated in a long while but for some reason the volumetric lighting doesn't seem to work on the RHSUSAF flashlights. Any possibilities of checking it out?

@WebKnight, thank you for this amazing mod. Does your headlamp item by any chance inherit from "Mine Detector" item? I do have the Vanilla Mine Detector GUI when I have your headlamp item in my inventory! And if that's a fact, any chance that you are going to change that?

I use kenoxite's KtweaK mod. Has the feature to auto add them for you:
"Add Lights to AI: Infantry AI units without NVGs, weapon lights or headlamps will be assigned a weapon light or headlamp. Only weapon lights will be distributed unless WebKnight Flashlights and Headlamps is installed."

Is there a specific item you have to equip to get headlamps? I spawned in some Space marines but none of them have headlamps, nor do any regular soldiers I spawn in. I have searched through the arsenal and I can't find anything about a headlamp.

@WebKnight Wish this had compatibility with BettIR. As you mentioned, they seem to be detected as flashlights too.. and your mod turns on even in BettIR's IR laser/IR flood light. Is there a way you can add settings to ignore BettIR?

Any special steps needed to get this working on a dedicated server? I just need it to work for players, really, but no dice when CTRL-L with a headlamp on the uniform after installing on client and server.

Hi just wondering ive managed to get the headlamps to work by adding headlamps in the inventory but the only problem is that there are lights for both sides is there a way to make it so the light shines on one side of the helmet where the headlamp is place instead on it shinning from both sides?

It seems the volumetric light will not appear if you use ITN - Illuminate the Night.

@Chopper yes, it should still work. There are settings for it, but it's in add-ons. There aren't very many options for it though. Hope you find it! :D

Ah, ok. Thank you. I've also noticed the white light effects that give the cool cone when looking at a person, seems to do the same for BettIR. Both on and off NVG. It's immersion breaking at the least and a death sentence in pvp at worst. Players with night vision can still see the cone and kill you that way. Aside from that, it's really cool.

No there are some RHS flashlights that are trash. Figured that out on Halloween when I was trying to kit people out with proper lights. Might be ace combined with rhs, idk.

Is anyone else having issues with weak white light being emitted from their weapon lights? Not the vanilla weapon light, but RHS weapon lights as well as Tier 1 weapon lights. I don't know if this is the mod that's causing it, but I have a feeling that it might.

Great mod we love this on our server. Not sure if you're still working on this mod but if so, can you add a toggle head lamp to the ace action menu. If not, I understand it's still very good as is, again great work.
