Had to use Submenu command option from arma to allow me to use the torches again lol.
run this code on global player spawn WBK_CustomFlashlight;
It will turn on and off your lights every time you execute it
All the items this mod adds act as a toolkit!
I was easily able to reproduce this by loading ace, cba and this mod, setting the ace repair setting so it requires a toolkit for repairing, and then pick engineer with a headlamp instead of the toolkit, repairing works.
Upon further testing this seems to be independent of ace, even in vanilla with just this mod and cba, having the items from this mod allows repairing and dealing with mines, in whats otherwise Vanilla.
At least for Headlamp items, you can use KtweaK.

Is there a way to have the lamp lights more centred? Currently they kind of go off to the right side.

I use kenoxite's KtweaK mod. Has the feature to auto add them for you:
"Add Lights to AI: Infantry AI units without NVGs, weapon lights or headlamps will be assigned a weapon light or headlamp. Only weapon lights will be distributed unless WebKnight Flashlights and Headlamps is installed."
