While I do like this mod do you know if there is one that also increases the amount of stone you can get from one chunk the more experienced somoene it?
UyTheo Aug 28 @ 3:20pm
Awesome!!
Scherub  [author] Aug 28 @ 8:00am
@Zairya: Thank you for letting me know.

I'll try to solve it and add Glitterstone compatibility in the next few days.
UyTheo Aug 28 @ 12:31am
Can you add compatibility for Glitterstone?
Zairya Aug 22 @ 12:53am
hello scherub,
for some reason, the x3 recipes to cut kuratheris' stones with cupros textures can't be loaded. I checked your patches and apparently, there was a change in the name of the mod.

your patch:
<RecipeDef ParentName="MakeStoneBlocksBulkBase" MayRequire="Kura.ExtraStoneCupro">

the 1.6 [K]ExtraStone w/ Cupros Textures about entry:
<packageId>Kura.ExtraStoneCupros</packageId>

long story short - you're missing an S in your MayRequire.
Scherub  [author] Aug 8 @ 11:31pm
I'm glad you were able to add compatibility with this mod.
Paprikahörnchen Aug 7 @ 1:09pm
The au-
Yes, they already commented. xD
Yay! \o/
Kattalisk Aug 7 @ 1:00pm
I've released an update to All Production Gives XP that should (hopefully) allow these mods to work together.
Kattalisk Aug 7 @ 12:08pm
Scherub Huh, it didn't even occur to me to simply disable the StonecuttingPatch, if this mod is loaded. I'll see about compatibility on my end
Paprikahörnchen Aug 7 @ 2:25am
I'll give them a comment then!
Thank you for answering and looking into it :)
Scherub  [author] Aug 7 @ 2:09am
I just looked into the XML files of the "All production Gives XP" mod and from what I can see, even if I added compatibility, using this mod's bulk recipes wouldn't give you XP then.

Also, the other things this mod does, like adding the stat "StonecuttingSpeed" or letting you change the required amount of work, wouldn't work then.

As I said, it would make more sense for "All production Gives XP" to just not apply their "StonecuttingPatch" operations, when this mod is present.
Scherub  [author] Aug 7 @ 1:47am
Oh, I only saw the heading "compatibility", but overlooked the "Incompatible with:" text underneath.

Tbh I think it makes more sense for the other mod to add compatibility.

A workaround for now would be to use the other two mods instead: "Smelting Gives XP" and "Chemful Production Gives XP".

If I find the time (which I currently don't have), I'll into it a bit more.
Paprikahörnchen Aug 7 @ 12:57am
What Mennaman said.
Sadly incompatible. :(
Mennaman Aug 6 @ 5:00pm
It seems that mod is Incompatible with this one most likely because both affect xp.
Scherub  [author] Aug 6 @ 10:28am
Doesn't the other mod say that it is compatible with this mod?
Paprikahörnchen Aug 6 @ 8:01am
I wish I could use this mod with <All Production Gives XP>.
I really miss the extra bills. :c
stultz144 Aug 2 @ 5:24pm
thanks i'll try using the obsidian one and see if it pulls Schorl chunks. your awesome man.
Scherub  [author] Aug 2 @ 1:45pm
From what I can see, they've only changed the "outer" name, the "inner" name is still "Obsidian". So you should still be able to find the matching recipe, but under the old name "Obsidian".

I also looked at "[K]Extra Stone(w/ Cupro's Textures)". Unfortunately, it looks like they have changed various names.

I won't have time in the next few days, but after that I'll try to take a closer look at their changes so I can adapt the recipes in here.
stultz144 Jul 31 @ 5:52pm
i use [k]extra stones mod and i notice i don't get a bulk recipe for the schorl block. it might be because they had to change the name of obsidian to schorl due to odyssey in thier mod. sadly for me my map i'm currently playing is mainly schorl. would it be possible for you to take a look and see if that's why? I included their last update post below which was on the 25th if i remember right.

UPDATE: Obsidian has been renamed to Schorl, one of the closest-looking minerals I could find in terms of color.
I can confirm that Unsubscribing then re-Subscribing fixed the issue I was having with the game mods Option tab freezing / being unable to close. Thanks Scherub!
Stellar Harbour Jul 17 @ 5:36am
Can't be it simple as making new block variant that can be created from others?
Scherub  [author] Jul 17 @ 4:22am
Looking at this mod, I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. They patch many methods to change their behavior. Perhaps I'll try adding it later today or tomorrow, then I'll know whether it simply works or not.
Scherub  [author] Jul 17 @ 4:09am
What do you mean by mixed blocks?
Stellar Harbour Jul 17 @ 3:44am
Can you add mixed blocks too?
Scherub  [author] Jul 16 @ 4:25am
Have you checked the last FAQ entry above?
Tarradax Jul 16 @ 3:44am
There's a bug that I've noticed in 1.5 as well and kinda forgot about - the "Cut any x3" recipe takes 3 chunks but only returns 20 cut blocks instead of 60. Reasonably sure it's not an inter-mod issue as I'm running a very lightly modded game (mostly QoL stuff like RimHUD and texture mods).
Scherub  [author] Jul 15 @ 11:03pm
I've just uploaded a new version which adds the Odyssey DLC's vacstone blocks.
Scherub  [author] Jul 15 @ 10:27pm
Occasionally, Steam messes downloading a new version of mod up and downloads only half of it. Please try unsubscribing and then re-subscribing.

I've just tested it in v1.6 again and it works fine. Fixing that was the main change required for v1.6 to work.
Any time I open this mods Mod Options page, it refuses to let me close it again; Neither the Close nor the X work, forcing me to use Task Manager to force kill Rimworld. It happens every time, and out of 180~ mods, it's only this mods Option page that does that.
Skulgren Jul 15 @ 3:10pm
ty @scherub!
Scherub  [author] Jul 15 @ 1:16pm
Okay, I'll try to add it tomorrow.
That_Guy Jul 15 @ 12:49pm
It’s in the DLC
Scherub  [author] Jul 15 @ 11:49am
Is vacstone part of the Odyssey dlc or another mod?
Skulgren Jul 15 @ 11:43am
The "Make any stone blocks 3x" works to cut vacstone, but a specific recipe would be even better.
Skulgren Jul 15 @ 11:42am
I would love it if this mod added a "Make Vacstone Blocks 3x" like the other recipes. Thanks if you do!
Bodacious Cowboy Jul 2 @ 8:58am
@Scherub I deleted my previous comment because I found out the mod is actually working fine, I just didn't know the xp came once the bill was completed
Scherub  [author] Jul 2 @ 8:51am
Yep, could be. If you want to know for sure, disable the other mod and see whether it works. You can also try changing the mod order to see whether this has any effect.
Scherub  [author] Jul 2 @ 12:07am
I'm sorry, but somehow I missed your post. Unfortunately, I don't know what green arrow you're talking about.

I would also need to know which RimWorld version you're using.
Bodacious Cowboy Jun 27 @ 9:55am
Should stonecutting show the green arrow on the skills menu using this mod? I don't think my colonists are getting xp.
Scherub  [author] Jun 14 @ 11:49pm
I've updated this mod to v1.10, which adds support for the upcoming RimWorld v1.6.

I had to make a minor code change for the mod-configuration page to work. Other than that, after a bit of testing, it seems to be running fine.

If you still encounter any problems with this mod, please let me know.
XGGJI1 Mar 7 @ 11:39am
Just a minor compatibility issue: When used with Rimsenal - Spacer Faction Pack , the "Cut Any Stone" order for the Survival Station from that mod will disappear. Anyway, Thanks for your work !
Tiny Tony Mar 2 @ 4:39am
Aye, thanks mate.
Scherub  [author] Mar 2 @ 4:23am
@Toughest Gun In The West: I just subscribed to my mod and it showed up in RimPy as "Stonecutting Extended".

Occasionally, Steam doesn't download all files. Try unsubscribing and after waiting for a bit, try re-subscribing.

You can also check the files and compare them with the archive you can find on GitHub.

@Darkest_97: If the default XP gain is too much, you can lower it by adjusting the XP multiplier.
Darkest_97 Mar 1 @ 6:11pm
I don't want this to be OP. I read they disabled XP for stonecutting because it was too much. Are the default settings a lot? I don't know what the default gain rate is for other crafting things.
Tiny Tony Mar 1 @ 4:32pm
What is the actual mod name? I cannot get it to show up in my Rimpy, it's the only new mod I have this problem with.
kent8399 Feb 9 @ 12:25am
切任意石頭時有增加
我忘記測試一次切三個的工作,可以試試看
應該是只有支援原版的工作項目
其他MOD的工作項目,不會增加經驗值

Increase when cutting any stone
I forgot to test the work of cutting three at a time, you can try it
It should be a work item that only supports the original version
Other MOD work items will not increase experience points

Can you link the mod you're using, please? I'll take a look at it.

But it would be better, if the Rimhammer Dwarf mod's stone cutting table just derives from the correct type, that would fix it and potentially other problems automatically. Perhaps you can ask there first?
Gearhammer Jan 28 @ 11:55am
I found it. I dont get exp from dawi stonecutter table from Rimhammer Dwarf mod, its set on crafting skill. From other stonecutter tables(vanilla, Medieval Overhaul exe.) are working fine and pawns get exp from them. Also set for crafting skill. So can you make some patch for Rimhammer Dwarf mod?
