Alright the mod has been updated to solve the "ghost buildings" bug. I apologize I it was do to me trying to be cute with the settlement slots after Game 3 came out and trying to see if more than four could fit in a settlement. Technically, they could, but the UI wouldn't display them, but the AI could still access them. The issue has now been solved for all future campaigns and I believe I may have been able to fix any ongoing campaigns. I apologize for any inconvenience I caused and the delay in resolving this issue.

Tested this mod today in Vortex campaign playing as High Elves and it still works. However I can confirm the ghost buildings bug is still there, you can tell it's there when the game warns you there's already a building of the same type in that province.

is that a confirmed issue? ai building more than 4 in minor settlements is a major issue.

yeah it seems AI can build minor cities as major (they have more slots even though the UI only show 4) so when you confederate them and right click on the city you can see all the buildings it built. Player can't demo or upgrade these "ghost" buildings but all functionality of them are working. It's not a big deal for me though as I see like an extra challenge and nice reward when you confederate.

Having same issue AnarelLeNoir described earlier. Buildings show as already built for conquered regions. Anyone having anything similar? Don't get it without this mod, sucks cause this is the one that makes things like old school total war where I didn't care about building slot amounts and could build whatever I wanted.

The biggest issue with that is that the files I use that make this mod compatible with Mixu's Unlocker are not mine, they were Mixu's that were posted and then later taken down. I'll try to contact them and see what they say. If they okay it, then I'll pass those files on to you.

Greetings again JediMasterDraco, sir! A year has passed and yet again I come to ask for your help!

I keep wanting to get back into this game but what's stopping me is the lack of a proper slot count for cities by default! It is extremely encouraging to see you starting to support OvN as well, that's amazing.

I've always wanted to increase slots in settlements and I was hoping I could modify the mod to suit my own needs as I prefer different/smaller slot counts. I have the assembly kit installed, but I would be extremely grateful if you could assist me with your files and perhaps some tips!

if you ever have time.. Konquata is still weirdly bugged. strange specific case (at t4 slots go to vanilla size). If you could add compatibility with norsca occupy anywhere that would be cooool

upon further testing, it seems lots of buildings are considered built for minor settlements, even though they are not

Hi! I noticed smth weird that I think comes from your great mod (I tried a new game without it and the issue was gone) : I'm playing a High Elf campain, and if I build eco buildings (tavern, fields or workshop) in the capital of a region, the buildings become unavailable in the smaller settlements of said regions, with the buildings having a check as if they're already built. I play with several other mods, including landmarks mods and SFO (and SFO's compatibility patches with Mixu's unlocker).

I wasn't even aware Be'lakor was a thing in OVN. I'll take a look when I can but I just had to get a new computer. Fortunately I had a lot of important data backed up so I just need to get all my old modding tools installed on the new one. Plus I have some IRL issues that need sorting through over the next couple weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to find out what needs doing tomorrow, but if I can't, it could be a while. Sorry.

Hey so idk if im doing anything wrong but playing as Be'lakor from OvN Conquata still loses additional building slots after t4 settlement is constructed

Unfortunately, adding slots to minor settlements isn’t possible in Warhammer II. Trust me, I’ve tried.

Yeah those issues that have been mentioned are related to the fact that higher tier cities have their building slots partially tied to the main building. I thought I’d corrected them, but I guess I didn’t get everything. Fortunately I’ve got a week off from work coming up so hopefully I’ll be able to do it then.

Yeah, playing high elves(Imrik) and got Fortress of Vorag to tier IV and cant build more buildings than my current 6.
Also problem stays if I deconstruct a building.
Option to build simply vanish, hammer symbol is gone, no more interaction possible.
Have not experienced that problem so far in empire, dark elves and bretonnia.

Playing OvN. Albion once T4 is constructed all slots become locked back to vanilla status

I find with this mod in Vortex no additional starting units are available with high Elve Legendary Lords? So the Pheonix and artillery units are missing from the Lord selection screen and also when the campaign starts?

@Rex53 I had the same issue you need to move it up above all mixu's mods and any other mods that might affect the building slots then start a new campaign.

Hey I was wondering how I could modify this mod to change the unlocked slots to 10 for everybody and 12 for single settlement provinces? 22 is too extreme for me

Found the issue, was playing Yvrese with the Sons of Aenarion mod, which changes the main settlement type. That resulted in T4/5 main settlement of generic cities being affected. This mod is at the top of the modlist.
