i mean, its a giant mobile weapons platform the size of a tank. i dont know about you but id put as much armour as i could on something that big and expensive

I feel like the Lycosa needs a serious nerf, 30mm is a lot of armor....

Given the relative lack of modern tank like armored vehicles in Rimworld, I think it could just be there was not much of a reason to have them. With Vehicle Framework allowing for locational armor, armor damage, locational components... there finally are a few with the 500 to 750mm RHAe to make something like APFSDS tank rounds useful over HEAT, so maybe CE will come out with them in the near(ish) future

the armorPenetrationBlunt looks correct based on real world numbers, but it is more then 10x the highest value for any blunt penetration in built in CE ammo (about 45000 for the 76.2mm AT gun). I wonder if it simply scale too fast as they have 90mm, 100mm, 105mm, and 120mm tank guns but no kinetic AP ammo for them

@SomeCasualGuy I apologize I'm not sure how to fix this, It might be because of their secondary weapons. Ill take a look when I return to this mod
@Datboi I like the biotech boss fights, that is a cool idea!
@Miso Its based off of the M829 sabot but when I return to this mod I'll give it a 3rd pass

It would be cool if you made the Lycosa an extra mini-boss for the mechinator. Possibly like a queen Lycosa or a mega Lycosa that's power is quickly deconstructing buildings and mechs. So it doesn't do much damage against flesh and humans but in terms of machines and buildings it rips right through it, this also includes armor. This would be pretty cool to see, and I think it'd fit nicely into the vanilla DLC. Ig a reward for defeating them could be being able to create the faction's mechs like the Shickmech or the scarab as a form of breech mech troops

I don't seem to have any issues switching between primary and secondary. Definitely with resurrected mechs losing their primary, I either disassemble or use devmode to "refund" a bugged mech. Sorry.

@wanost77 I found the issue, its Patches\CE-VehicleFramework\Weapons.xml. PatchOperationFindMod will execute if at least one mod is present, and I have Vehicle Framework

Thats really odd. No errors on my end and those patches shouldn't be activating based on your modlist. Are there any gameplay issues, particularly with these mechanoid's weapons?

finally a worthy opponent for my Steel torrent tanks. Scarabs with sabot rounds can absolutely oneshot a tank. Makes mechanoid raids more tactically varied. Love it
