It used to have a dependency on Androids Expanded but I removed it since I couldn't find anything that linked this mod to that mod. The only dependencies are the ones listed. Rimpy has a habit of listing removed dependencies.

@coldzero is there a separate androids dependency that I am not aware of because my rimpy is throwing errors at me saying that this mod is missing an android dependency

Probably if using the oversized weapon mod, a tag could be added to scale weapons to match their frames. Scaling them down defeats their purpose of being Archotech. I'll look into it though

Hey thanks for the update to 1.6. Would it be okay if you scaled down the destroyer and archotech droid to match the size of the other droids? Love your work. It would just be nice to see, that way the weapons look proportionate to the destroyer and archodroid. Would this be possible to customize?

Were allies attacking it or were enemies attacking it?

I only know how to resolve the issue, not to prevent it
Use Character Editor. One of the sliders will be at 0 (all the way on the left)
Drag that slider to the right. It's the transparency. I have no idea what causes it nor do I have the skill to fix it sadly.

I'm unsure. I lost the will to do highly technical modding for RimWorld. I've tried fixing issues I've encountered and some things are just too complex for me to understand what's going on.
The other two tiers might be safe.

Maybe one day I'll just make these bots part of Biotech if I feel like banging my head against the wall to get that working

Bug Report: Missing All Droid Textures

I encountered an issue where all the textures for the Archotech Droids are missing, and they appear with no visible body or textures at all. This issue seems to occur when using this mod in combination with other mods like the "Big and Small" framework, which may cause a texture conflict or prevent textures from loading correctly.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions on how to resolve it or prevent the missing textures?

any ideas why the droid would spawn as a floating head of hair and no body? and if its doing it for this would it do it for the other two tiers as well?

I had plans to add things but I'm not skilled enough with art, C# or XML to implement them. Honestly, there's a link to an updated version which fixes bugs so it could be better to just use it.
Best to consider this abandoned.

The most I added to this since the old version was a CE patch that mostly works, Shields from Biotech to the Destroyer, and made the Archdroid do research and social (but won't form bonds)
I also disabled the weird human icon where I could along with the weird red tint.
That's all I remember from the top of my head.

If people wanted changes, I'd make them and support this more

I'm just curious (for future refference), if you come up with any ideas, do you plan on adding to it, or is this just a 1 to 1 port?

Русский не мой родной язык, извините. Я пытался добавить патч для CE, когда раньше с ним играл, но больше с CE не играю. Патч работает только при загрузке CE, если он загружен из Steam. Если это не так, то это не сработает. Я мог бы попытаться изучить это, когда у меня будет время, но я не слишком хорошо разбираюсь в CE. Так что я не думаю, что версия 1.5 решит эту проблему на данный момент.

Играю на версии Rimworld 1.4. До этого играл на версии 1.2 и с этими дроидами и "CE" было все хорошо. В 1.4 же - броня уничтожителя 40 + 1.32, что иногда пробивается картечью из дробовика с бронепробитием 4, а щит совсем не ловит пули, кроме эми, от которых отключается и снова включается, при этом пропустив весь урон в самого дроида. Исправится это, если я перейду на версию 1.5, или это дело в самом "CE"? Он скачан у меня с гитхаба

Ok, updated with a fix

Subscribe to Character editor, go to the skin section and just put all the sliders from the left to the right and they'll become visible again

I started a game with some Archdroids in kits. On assembling them, they work normally, but have no model. They're invisible save for their equipment(if any).

Currently when a droid pawn is spawned, via the printer or kit, they spawn normally until the save is loaded again. Then they spawn with hair. Use a styling station to remove the hair

It was the only way I could think of balance-wise. If anyone else thinks it's too expensive, I'll make changes, if you don't want to edit the xml files yourselves.

Furthermore, if by any chance you really want to use this mod but without Royalty DLC, edit this file:

\Your\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2560554690\Defs\AlienRace_ArchoDroids.xml


And make sure you delete or comment the lines containing <Apparel_PackJump> and <Apparel_PackBroadshield>. When I'm writing this post, they are on row 394 and 395 of the file.

FYI this mod would cause issue in vanilla since it would call <Apparel_PackJump> and <Apparel_PackBroadshield>, since both are only from Royalty DLC. If you don't like the error message on starting up the game (like me), either play this mod with Royalty DLC enabled or play without Royalty and this mod.
