good mod, been using it for nearly 10 years

steam isnt downloading the mod, where on the manual download can i get this?

my pc is several years older then this game so this was really nice.

Ketawang, Steam tends to bug out when downloading mods from the workshop. It bugs out even more with CK2 mods for some reason. Use the manual link to directly download and create a mods folder in the ck2 documents folder and paste it there and it should allow you to use it then.

I subscribed to the mod but somehow it doesn't show on the mod page on the launcher? I also can't find it in the mod folder, so is it possible that steam didn't download the mod? How to fix this?

This mod forces all saves into a special folder. If you turn this mod off after saving, you will not have access to those saves. Eek.

The what now? I don't have just a /home. You need to guide people better.
For example /Disk(Whatever)/Program/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Crusader Kings II

Great idea in theory, but I didn't notice a significant enough difference in performance even after changing the settings file. I'm running on an i3 processor with no dedicated graphics card.

A small fix is needed for this to work with CK2 on Linux.

Edit flatmap.mod and change
archive="mod/FlatMap.zip"
to
archive="mod/flatmap.zip"

Seriously, it's that simple. No need to spam like a moron.

For those of you having trouble with exporting your game to EU IV and this mod, all you need to do is go to

"C:\Users\user\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\flatmap\eu4_export\mod"

Take both mod files from there and put them in

"C:\Users\user\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\eu4_export\mod"

Now EU IV will find your converted save and you are good to go!

Howdo I install this? I Subscribed and nothing was loaded. I went to the Facebook page but... no file...?

And yes you can run the mod while playing Ironman but you will not recieve any achievements.
Same goes for any file added to the base game other than the Paradox official files.
