I won't be doing a hero version, doesn't fit with what Redmaw actually is/was.
Regarding SFO, I won't be doing any compatibility myself but anyone is free to make a submod.

has anyone talked about doing an SFO version for this? Would really be perfect if instead of the mutated war hound unit they did he just used this and made it a hero locked to only one eye

Yeah it's a struggle to balance free summons, on the same note though the game gives caster BM 3 free cygor summons so I decided it was fair. :P sidenote though summons don't benefit from any skills or techs the only reason Redmaw gets buffs from those certain skills is because the unit that is summoned is different.

good boys are good boys even when they are evil mutants. rather like the mod and it kinda goes with how he buffs hounds and 'lesser beasts' as it were.

he still feels a tiny bit unbalanced though, think in part cause he is a free summon and thus doesn't have toworry about how hurt he gets. still it is a good idea and gives kazrak a bit more identity than he initailly had.

Not really, Skarsnik and Gobbla have their own unique skeleton, which is beyond the realms of possibility for me and most modders, even if we wanted to.

Ah I see makes sense. I will see if I know any of those. That is super cool though.
In any case, Lirieth isn't in the army books to my knowledge, but appears in Thorpe's books. Basically she is Hellebron's doppelganger. They bolster each other and fight with the same dagger sword duo. Love taking psychedelics before fights. Very addicted to blood. Was the other Bride of Khaine and both of them led worships for Naggorothi.

If that is the case though I can certainly peep it, not a huge DE fan so I've never really deeped into their armybooks

I feel that would fall more under a new character, I was thinking more in the lines of TT characters who had a companion model with its own stats and special rules. Like Skarsnik and Gobbla, Sayl and Nightmaw, Thanquol and Boneripper and Khazrak and Redmaw. That kind of thing.

JvJ did you have any thoughts on Lirieth as a potential companion for Hellebron? Sorry if you saw it already, just curious since you were looking for others.

But in short it goes like so, Redmaw saves Khazrak from Toddy when Toddy takes his eye, Khazrak gets mad ambushes Toddy and takes Toddy's eye, Toddy gets mad hunts Khazrak finally corners him but Khazrak slips away but Toddy manages to kill Redmaw and then hangs his corpse on the walls of Middenheim.

It's in Khazrak's backstory in the 6th Edition Beasts of Chaos book, i can drop you a quote later on after i have finished work.

Where is it said that Red Maw was killed by Boris? Red Maw barely has pages on the wikis.

Thrott has Ghoritch - A former general of Archaon the Everchosen, - Throt transplanted his brain into the body of a Rat Ogre, creating an aberration of incredible speed. That's one case of a "pet" but maybe a Rat Ogre is a bit too big? Not sure whether that would be a good thing to introduce, iI'll keep looking!

@rastavor it is not if you already put points into Khazrak's unique skill chain, I recommend using respec mod to refund all his points, save the game, then activate this mod and load back into that file to be able to save the points that would've been eaten by the skill change.

One companions I know of is Lirieth. She is the sister of Hellebron, and I don't know if she died in the lore.

@Mortarch of Blood, if you know anymore that fit for any of the characters already in game, then let me know. The only other Character/Companion pair that comes to mind is Sayl the Faithless and Nightmaw but Sayl isn't in game yet.

Just in line with last TWWH 2 patch. One of vampire heroes (king of the dead) is named in memory of CA beta tester. Of course it`s not as glorious way as erect huge stone statures etc., but still a way to immortalize any dear creature. This is the best way to include famousf lore hound in final version TWWH 2, I like it.
